We are constantly seeking protection , fear of destruction rules us.The nature has made every living thing like that only. We fail to understand the thought process of our neighbor, but fear him or love him.But are we recognizing him ,appreciate him, as he is .We fail to understand fully what is happening in China or US now, even with 300 news channels .So what we assume about the past is all very bits and pieces let us not fight over it.But the reality of nature is that weak will perish, those who are without any planning to protect themselves will be the easy pray whether it is a country, individual or religion.The world has changed so much now, no country will think of attacking another country and ruling it .We are now in consumption era and we want now all others to consume what we make, make money more money more money greed drives the world and it is bound to destroy it.Having born in one culture ,(please don't confuse with culture and religion) and fight each other, it is the duty of every Indian born Hindu Christian and Muslim to protect the Indian culture thoughts and diversity. The responsibility is more for a Hindu.I Wish all the best For Mr Francois who is reminding this responsibility to every Indian of all religion.The philosophy of Hinduism has many dimensions, it definitely has remedy to many of the problems we face today in a society over driven by greed consumption and exploitation of all resources
The strength of every civilisation is in the mentality and attitude of the people who are beneficiaries of the civilisation. No one reveres something projected as primitive- remember the British description- "India (only!) as a country of snakecharmers, beggars and festivals (obviously) nothing else...this suited the British to import their (modern)civilisation to India and create devotees for it sing praises in colleges, schools, universities, cultural organisations etc...where the British could not give comparative ancient records Viz a Viz Indian civilisation they alluded it to the Greeks and Romans thus completely knocking out India......look at the Indian booker prize winners and the educated who copy the Greek Astrology and Astronomy to appear educated as even mentioning Indian Heritage or alluding its role itself would have cast them in to a bracket of primitivity. This suited the communists and all foreign religions in their conversion spree...The moment majority of the influential and educated common man in India believe in the uniqueness of their civilisation and religions they would not be able to convert-no one likes to convert to a less modern and civilised religion....this is why they cannot convert to many people in metros and they choose tribal belts....where vulnerable people without education, literacy and livelihood can be told anything and induced with some food&clothing to change their religion-US Universities are doing more for Indian Heritage than ours
Sir, I feel really sorry for myself, my country and my country men!!! We are moving very fast toward complete darkness!! Alas I cant do anything!!! When I read articles by people like you, be it on anti-brahminism, be it on seclar fabric of a hindu, be it on any other issue of national significance, I can only say I feel humbled that we as Indians are unable to do anything for our country yet people like you, like David Frawley, Koenraad Elst, Stephen Knopler are raising voices for us!!! It fills me with great sorrow, and great sadness that I cant do anything about it but cast one vote which might even go insignifacnt with the loosing side!!! Huhh, Democracy!! I see my fellow brahmins, my fellow indians suffer and cant do anything but sigh with sorrow!!! We lost our identity, thanks to the British!! As civilisations go Bharat had its place in the sun in ancient times, as some others which had left greater marks on world history. In size and extent of influence in the ancient world none compare to Bharat except China. The fact remains that neither Bharat and China have shaped the world as we know it today.

Sir, The article has been introspective. The vigourous civilization that thrived in India in the Vedic age has been in decline ever since the Greeks invaded India. The decline of the Indian systems of learning, enquiry and education had been under attack ever since. What one sees of the values in some old people and in some areas are only vestiges of that glorious past. What one sees as a general condition is a complete debasement of not only the pristine wisdom but also of the corruption of the fundamental values that mark the character of an entire people and the nation. This is reflected in our elected leaders. In election after election the people who get elected are seen with coarse venal and completely debased sense of values. The referendum on the nuclear deal in the parliament has reminded the people that this body canot be trusted to serve the good of the people. We as a people have completely debased our heroes. We have all kinds of labels to trivialise our Gods, our literature and our past. Is it any wonder that India, even with the vast mass of humanity, hardly counts for anything other than for its potential for exploitation like so many heads of farm animals.

Francoise Gautier is a true admirer of our culture and religion...he deserved the award for his work.
We forget we were slaves just sixty years back. We believe our past was glorious & so to will be the future, but the present will always be lousy! Our make-up is to forgive & forget but are taken advantage of. There is a psyche of the nation & ours is non-violence. That worked against British but may have no place against those with ziltch conscience.
The terrorists are a minority. They will never get into the mainstream. They will hit & run. That happenned with the naxal movement. Now religious intolerance. We are not alone & can take lessons from others. US went hammer & tong to Iraq, the wrong place! China has zero tolerance, no questions allowed! Even Islamic countries like Middle East, Indonesia & Malaysia give nothing away. The people are behind strong action.
We give out weak signals & seem to be caught off guard. It is time all parties joined together as one. Or are they more interested to get political mileage? The reaction of one played straight into the terrorists agenda that the govt was behind these blasts! These types of reaction are never tolerated in any other country. One can react that the govt is soft but to deflect all attention & dispirit the law enforcers is just not on, in national interests.
Yes, we take things too easy. That is our psyche but we regroup faster than most. It is also time the govt set-up professional outfit to be ever vigilant to root out this evil from our land. For that, all politicians have to put nation above self!

India was and is a great civilisation and India does have a glorious past. But that glorious past was in the time of the Indus Valley civilisation and not in the Vedic Period, as claimed by this Illuminati Member - Gautier.
Indians have been slaves for the past 3,500 years. It is really only the last 61 years of atleast nominal democracy and 19 years of liberalisation which has just began the process of liberation of the Native Indians, who have, of late began to believe that we too are human beings. For the past 3500 years, most Native Indians considered self as sub human and only conquering race, be that Aryan, Tukish, Mongol,French, British or Portugese race to be superior.

There never was any aryan invasion. The Indic spread continued all the way upto italy in west and japan in east. The vedic period started at about 7000bc and predates any existing known western cave civilizations. The VATICAn itseft was a Ashram-VATIKA a place were vedic priests once lived. There are idols of brahma found in rome 30 ft below surface dating more than 4000 years BC. Such reports and scientific discoveries are systematically suppressed by missionaries lobbies. A lot of real history of Indic civilisation, kings, clans was forever destroyed when uncivilised Islami jihadis destroyed hindu-buddhist monasteries-temples in Nalanda, Kandahar, Kashmir, pakistan and bangladesh.
We Indians today do not know our history and past. Hence most of our future seems to be in danger and present in big turmoil.

Thanks guys. Historians can twist our past. Pakistanis' interpretations of Mughal era will be different, very much so! Let us be more concerned with the present & future, but learning lessons of history, that our freedom can be fleeting & lots of bad wolves out there, to snatch all away.
China does not yield an inch & are highly nationalistic. We are mired in disarray. Even the deadly bomb blasts divide politicians to such an extent we are unable to put up any show of unity - we just play into the evil hands of the perpetrators! Our politics divide us, but our aam aadmi recoup fast & know the game. He knows he has to live by his wits to survive.
Like Gautier, I worry that our sense of inertia can expose us to great harm. We have to have clear national interests to rise as one against terrorism. My point is, why cannot our leaders of all hues sit across one table to rise as one. Even Muslim countries have zero tolerance against these terrorists with three Bali bombers getting the death penalty.
Let us be on guard when danger is ever all pervasive. It need not be killings. It can eat into our psyche slowly dividing even the aam aadmi. Let us create a greater future than the past, whatever it was!
The obstacles for the Kumbabhishegam were too many-thanks to the lack of full cooperation from the Government and from the village people.
However the dedicated efforts of the core members of the Guhasri Swamigal Satsangam and the blessings of Guhasri Swamigal and the divine Grace of Lord Singeeswarar made the success of the project possible and the kumbabhishegam took place on the appointed date.
The resources were short of Rs 9 Lakhs and the situation has been mastered by taking temporary loans - in the hope that Bhakthas in India and abroad would donate liberally to meet the shortage by sending cheques in favour of the "Guhasri Swamigal Satsangam" earmarking the proceeds for the Meppedu project.
LORD SIVA will certainly instil the faith in the devotees and motivate them to contribute generously.

Lord Shiva is the First God ever worshipped by Man and shall always be worshipped. All others came later and fade away earlier.

The countless islamic terrorist attacks on India in last 5 years is just the beginning. The worst is yet to come. After 200 years, the plunder of India by arabs-jihadis has just RESTARTED. And there isn't a true Bharatiya King-Leader to fight it off.
Indian kings were divided in year 700AD when jihadis came to India. Indian Kings could not unite and fight-off the evil. The Jihadis took afganistan then pakistan then bangladesh then Kashmir over a period of 1000 years. They have resumed the invasion again now. India is still not united and will not be able to fight-off this renewed invasions by islami jihadis even though India has a population of 1 Billion, 4th largest army, weapons etc etc. We only have innumerable corrupt bureaucrats, over-weight police, out-dated intelligence services, british written Indian history, psuedo-seculars, Chinese agents, CIA agents and visionless-selfish policitians. No wonder almost every Indian wants to mimic successful and strong western civilisation such as US and western Europe. So damaged is psyche of common hindu Indians that almost every one here wants to get rid off their dark skins by applying fairness creams to their skin and look white, talk in English and queue-up outside western embassies to go-work-live abroad. How can such a demented civilisation survive?
Sorry Mr Gautier, Indian civilisation is doomed. Another 60-100 years it would be all over.
My dear friend don’t be too pessimist... we don't have to go to 500 or 1000 year to see what a true leader can do to our nation example Shivaji Maharajah, who single handedly defeated the moguls and formed a purna swaraj.
