Karat & Yechury are rootless leaders of CPI M and should be thrown out of the party.
by S Narain on Jul 24, 2008 02:43 PM  Permalink

Bengal faught with formidable british for freedom of India with their blood, sweat and tears.
They have been denied share of power not only at the center but also in their own leftist party.

CPIM has been hijacked by rootless and power hungry fellows like Karat ,Yechury ..who have not won even a muncipal election...
These obnoxious fellows do not want any bengali to occupy any position of power not only at center but also in the party.
Just like they prevented Jyoti Babu from becoming PM in 1996 and prevented Somnath Da from contesting Vice Prez post!!!These fellows are against bengals progress..just behaving like Greg Chappel .. what he did to Sourav and showed finger to Kolkata ...these scoundrels are deriving power from MPs of bengal and working against bengals progress..

Bengal is sending 70% of left MPs and they share not even 10% of power at center..

If bengal could throw the British out ..why not these anti bengal..antinational Karat,Yechury & the likes..
I fail to understand as to how long it would take for bongs to realise this..

First things first. CPIM has no democracy. In Bengal villages they beat up the poor and stone those who voice any angst against them. who are these red flag foxes/bearers to talk of democracy. they know no rules themselves. Bunch of jokers indeed

Ah! What a take!! What level of intelligence!! CPI(M) "beating and stoning" the poor in Bengal and still winning the polls! Where was the Election Commission during the last Assembly Election (2006)? It was so meticulous that the state witnessed the longest election in the country, in five phases. Still the Left won with a thumping majority. The "poor" (who constitute the majority) should have either been patently stupid or under the impact of cocaine to accept the Left though they are being abused and beaten day in and day out. How interesting! I congratulate Karat for taking such a bold step. The Speaker was wrong. If he thought that he was "above" politics and performing a constitutional duty, why didn't he resign from the party just when he was elected the Speaker? He refused to follow the party line, and CPI(M) has no place for those who embarrass the party in public. Without the party Mr. Chatterjee would have been one of India's few thousand lawyers who crowd our courts. Mr. Chatterjee got the exposure and the respect that he earned also because of the unstinting support of thousands who worked tirelessly to get him elected. He completely forgot about them for the sake of his "constitutional position". Let him enjoy the position as long as he can. Don't forget that the Left are the only parties in the country who are never expected to dance to the tune of bags full of black money. The Congress could never boast that, the BJP is pathetically exposed.

The basic issue is of aligning with communal forces, which is the root cause of terrorism in today’s world.
As Subhas Chakraborty has rightly pointed out that voting along side BJP is actually an act against the party line adopted in last party congress.
Prakash Karat decision is really against party line.
CPM’s decision to align with BJP & Janta party in the past had created the today’s BJP a big tiger from a little mouse.
Somnath Chatterjee’s decision of refusing voting with BJP is a right one.
I like to wish him “ Happy Birthday a real Leo by birth”

tell us why the hurry in nuclear deal when it just gives us 3% more energy after 20 years. why cant UPA let the public know about the cost of the electricity ( some say it will be 17 Rs per unit ) and the investment ( estimates 19,00, 000 Crores) which will go in.

i sincerely believe there is more to the deal that is the reason bush,Sonia Gandhi( Bofors Scam), laloo (Fodder scam) Mulayam ( Reliance janta Party ) is in a hurry to get the deal done.

Mr Gumpy,
There is no doubt that Nuclear power is a long lasting solution then thermal power but Hydel Power is a much better and practically ever lasting solution. But we should not forget the risks involved in generating nuclear power, disposal of waste and continous supply. Any misadventure by any mad nation can cripple our raw material supplies without any fault on our part. We should not forget what happened in Bhopal gas leak case. Nuclear mishap is going to be thousands of times more dangerous.

Kajolika, there is no doubt about the economic reform started by the then finance minister Manmohan Singh, that does not mean that his keen interest in the nuclear deal is a correct move. There are a few nuclear expert (Ex-BARC) who openly expressed their apprehension about this deal. Moreover the exhorbitant cost involves to increse appx. 4 to 6 percent energy is a blunder, I believe. Our politicians play games as per their convenience in life. India is bound to have problems from this deal. The simple reason is that, we will be completely dependent on the suppliers of nuclear fuels like uranium and there they will dictate terms to us. You might say we also import a bulk need oil for our domestic need. True, but in this case if any country refuses to supply the same, we shall only have to curtail our use. In nuclear energy, we need to invest huge in the infrastructure that will not only go waste, the burden of this huge loss would go to the common man.

See how easily China is fomenting terrorism in the Indian communists dominated North East just as the Pakistan fed Muslim wolves are biting the Indian society in J & K and from Bangladesh soil.

SOMNATH CHEATED HIS PARTY WHO MADE HIM GROWN
by PS wa on Jul 24, 2008 02:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No dobut Somnath fooled his party. It is like the son throw his parents out after he attain a position and b his own legs. Now Somnath will be offered membership from Congress, he might accept it and contest under HAND SYMBOL from West Bengal. Somnath proven himself he is selfish and his personal needs are beyond the party's interest. Who bothered all the enthics??? Karat, this is a lesson, dont suggest any partymen to a key post from where they can enjoy life....communists always stand for people's interest, but Somnath is the example that thoese are all in paper only. Somnath should not have himself degraded like this, shameful!

There is a very good dialouge in movie "Page-3", "To change the system, you have to be in system". Why Communist leaders want to act like remote control? Take part in the Government, change the system the way you want. Popatpanchi is not good for anybody.

ABUSIVE LANGUAGE USED IN THE OPION
by PRASOONAN on Jul 24, 2008 02:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is see that many are using unacceptable/abusive languages while expressing their views. It is a fact persons using such websites are mainly youngsters who do not know whats the real life of the countryman. they may be thinking that mobiles and pizas are flowing in our country. Before you critisise anybody you should know the dignity of that man. I saw one fellow wrote Prakash Karat an idiot who is enjoying with Brinda in western world. Pls tell them whats their qualification and why they left their job and whats their bank balance. Tell them to compare their life style and financial status with other leaders of other political parties, except left. Many ministers in West Bengal are carrying tea in the flask from their residence and serve to guests coming to their office. This is not reported by a CPM paper but BJP supported Indian Express and Times. When these guys use abusive languages definitely others supporting left parties will not keep mum. So, pls use such a method that, when an abusive language comes it should not be printed.

thanks for the understanding.
