The basic issue is of aligning with communal forces, which is the root cause of terrorism in today’s world. As Subhas Chakraborty has rightly pointed out that voting along side BJP is actually an act against the party line adopted in last party congress. Prakash Karat decision is really against party line. CPM’s decision to align with BJP & Janta party in the past had created the today’s BJP a big tiger from a little mouse. Somnath Chatterjee’s decision of refusing voting with BJP is a right one.
