Their currency is higher because from dollar assets, interest shifts to other hard currencies like Euro, pound, Swiss Franc, yen etc. This due to speculation as in commodity markets which are unregulated. For 5-6% you can take positions unlike in equity markets you need to put up at least 50%

Inflation is low since their currency appreciates. But it makes their exports also uncompetitive. So it creates unemployment

India does not need another Nuclear test as there is nothing to prove to anybody since we are already a Nuclear Country.
2) India is full with Thorium deposits, India needs Uranium, and Urnanium can can only be supplied by the countries which fall into the NSG.
3) Nuclear energy is given importance to take a bit of load from our oil imports, remember the inflation rate is going high in our country because of Indias heavy dependence on oil, and Nuclear energy will be beneficial in long run, so even the developed countries also support Nuclear energy.
You are talking about oil prices i think India has still done well by keeping the price under check, you need to check the oil prices in US they are still soaring even though US is know to supply oil to countries like Japan, China tell me why didnt they stoip their supplied to China and Japan and reduced the oil prices over here. The day by day rise in oil prices is nothing but a big scam as there is not such great increase in demand for oil against its production but still the prices are rising.
This could be one of the step taken by the wester countries to curb the growth of developing countries like India which depends heavily on oil imports for its energy requirements.
India is too much dependent on Oil so we need to have the alternate source of energy which could marginally reduce our dependence on oil.

Thats the reason i think this deal is very important.

Other thing dont support this left paties since their loyal

Im employed in Saudi Arabia... Petrol is less than Rs 5 a litre.. (the cheapest in the world).

INflation in Saudi Arabia is 11% .. in December it was just 2.8%. Qatar having the best Gas resources inflation currently is 15.8% (December it was just 6%)

I still think India is better place to live in the present scenario with Crude Oil Prices going through the roof.

Real cuase of signing this deal is to promote Indian stratagy to get entry in to the power group of US/EU and few other Asian democracies like Japan who control the capital of world and direction of world business.India also want to be a permanant member of UNSC alongwith Germany, Japan and Brazil. US is the key player in the world afairs. China and Russia alliance is threat to US hegemony in world economy and military power. To retain this position US needs India in their group. After Soviet disintegration US leaders and capital elites are trying to drift India from Russia. Indian economical distress during 1992 made Indian leader aware of liberalization of capital flow from ouside. Only US and EU corporates were in capacity to do this. China also understood the same but being communist model it had to adopt state capitalism where state becomes major player with puppets in its name on surface. India needs to be major player in world economy to keep its businesses moving. The old policy of Non alignment cannot be successful for nations. A nation has to be in a group of friends and allies to force its own policies on others. If you are billionair you must have strong security to safegurd your assets. US is doing this for 60 years after WW2. Bullying others is part of this game.
Secondly India is a energy defficient country. It badly needs oil for economic growth. US is after Iran for oil. Once Iran falls to US India will be in trouble. Its better to be with US.

The issue of being a nuclear power state and keep doing nuclear testing for military purposes will always be of low priority as comapred to the priorites mentioned by you. These priorities will always remain before India for the years to come. Does that mean we should not have nuclear inspiration at all unless we address the priority issues? This is not how a country runs.

Even China is having the same problems (with less degree) but it still has imperialistic and expansionist aspirations and want to become most powerful nation in the world.

Communists have always vehemently opposed the Indian governments in past whenever they had done nuclear testing. Now all of a sudden they are crying that the 123 treaty will not allow India to do nuclear testing. This is double standards at its best.

They haven't pull their support from the government when it was inactive in controling inflation but all the hell break loose when the govt decided to go ahead with 123 treaty. This shows what is the priority of left parties. They can tolerate inflation but not the treaty.
They have exposed themselves of their true colours and they still claim that they are for the poor mass, who don't know even abc of the treaty.
