Pranab has clearly informed the respected commies that can also have text of the document but for that they will have to join the Government. They want to have the text and then convey the brief to their principals without getting involved in oath of secrecy...! Simple they want to have their share of cake and eat it too without any binding ...!
Any discussion between a country and a world body is confidential. No outside third party can have access to it. That is the law, especially in IAEA. What is the point of discussing on it over and over again when it is amply clear that third party access is not permitted? Mr. Mukherjee said VERY CLEARLY that any one want to have access to the document will have to join the government in the process. The attitude of the left leaders have always been the same: don't be involved in any process in a responsible manner but always create trouble for those who are working on something. There could be only one response to this: f... off and that is exactly what Congress is saying to the left.

If IAEA document is a confidential one then no CONGRESS man including madam Italian Gandhi PM in defacto should have any access to it. If any Government joining the process can have the access to it why not the entire parliament?.Any TOM DICK and HARRY can be a minister, Party President of ruling party in such a case how can such document become confidential document from execution poit of view.Once the document is signed the consequences are on the entire country hence the entire parliament is responsible. Thus such documents can not come under the perview of confidetiality.Lookmwhat happened in case of Bofors confidentiality. Entire country was cheated but still the personilities of Bofors scandal have been provided the reigns though by birth one of them is not Indian National.Mr. Mukharjee has been misleading the nation by such statements.Government is duty bound to keep the entire document to the parliament so that at least few sensitive parliamentarians can understand the implication of such documents and provide a right lead. Such sensible people do exist in tresury benches as well as in opposition. Cheap political game at this hour is shameful

In ideal world the document should be accessible to the entire nation. I agree with your on that point. But we live in a world less than perfect. So why complaining? BTW: party president don't have access to the document. ONLY those who are involved in negotiations have the access. That is why Mr Mukherjee is asking the left to do: join in the process. Why do you want to poke your nose without taking any responsibility?
a major decision of having n-deal with usa with a huge impact in ind's future. how can the same b hidden. ppl of india has a right to ask the govt. what is the guarantee that usa is not given favour by corrupt politicians.
and for those who say communists r paid by china n supports china, i ask them, if given the money, other party's representatives can also do all kind of favours to usa or even to pak.

although, bjp is just opposing the cong on n-deal, nothing much except for embarassing the ruling party. however, the point made by bjp is valid.
given the important nature of major n-deal with huge implication for future of india, the decision shud b highly debated in parliament and it shud b passed not merely with simple majority (51%) but with special majority just like an amendment to constitution requires 66% (?) majority.
CONGRESS HAS DEFIANTLY DUG ITS OWN GRAVE ... FOR THE 1st TIME EVER THEY HAVE LOST THE MAJORITY IN THE UPPER HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT...EVEN IF THE MANAGE TO GET A MAJORITY IN THE LOVER HOUSE...THEY WILL JUST BECOME A LAME GOVERNMENT TRYING TO HANG ON FOR A YEAR...IF THEY DO MANAGE TO LIMP FOR ONE MORE YEAR...THEY WILL BECOME SO WEAK AND USELESS...THAT THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN GET 100 SEATS WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD IN A YEARS TIME.....WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD..I CANT SEE ANYONE GETTING A MAJORITY...AND ANOTHER COLLATION IS THE ONLY OPTION....YEARS BACK ONE COULD NOT EVER THINK OF A COMMUNIST AND RIGHT WING COLLATION ..BUT FOR THE 1st TIME EVER IT HAS BECOME VERY POSSIBLE.......CONGRESS HAVE LOST A VERY FAVOURABLE ALLY IN THE COMMUNISTS.... THE ONLY OPTION FOR CONGRESS NOW IS TO CALL IN ELECTIONS IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT GOING FOR A TRUST VOTE ANA THEN HOPE FOR THE BEST....IF THEY DO GO FOR A TRUST VOTE JUST FOR THE ONE SIDED NUCLEAR DEAL WITH USA..AND THEY LOSE ...CONGRESS WILL BE CRUSHED IN THE ELECTIONS....IF THEY DO MANAGE TO GET THE NUMBERS...AND LIMP ON FOR ANOTHER YEAR....CONGRESS WILL GET CRUSHED IN THE ELECTIONS HELD IN A YEARS TIME...
On N-deal Congress is asking to sign blank cheque: Most dangerous and notorious attitude of Congress is exposed. They are not giving the details of agreement, but asking full support for signing the agreement. Where are we living, under Mugambe (Zimbabwe) or Musharaf (Pak) regim or Myanmar ?
What do you mean by Third Party, Mr.Mukherjee? In the present set up, though Left did not join the government, they cannot be termed as a Third Party and therefore, they have every right to know about whatever decisions that the government is taking with their support. And in this particular case, what confidentiality you are talking about? Each and every citizen in India has the right to know about it because it will directly affect them in future. No doubt, Congress lost even its remaining credibility.

Chinese agents and traitors do not have a right to be privy into national secrets. Period. Got that, dear Mallu commie?
Agreed, the Cong-I has erred in not taking the nation into confidence, let alone their own allies. But if they haven't, don't you think they have some sneaking suspicion otherwise? That too, allies for 4 long bloody f**king years! That shows the level of confidence the Commies enjoy.. food for thought, isn't it?

100 percent correct. in such important issue where sovergnity of the country is involved such statement is rediculous
If we build a new reactor, how will it be classified? Will it, by default, be civilian whereby it comes under IAEA inspection or it's upto Indian Government to decide if it's Civilian or Military.
