Dear all rediff readers, Both Sanghis and Congresswallahs.
Since we have been debating long, I feel none of you really knows anything about Kashmir. So I really want to know if you have read anything about it, or you are just the India's Wikipedia generation, who just log onto guru wikipedia.
You know wikipedia is not fully reliable as anyone can change its contents. The website often puts up disclaimers.
Ok so the question is; Has any one of you pious souls even read a single book on Kashmir. If you have not then I am logging out becasue I have no desire to debate with ill-informed people.

No body leaves his home and hearth on somebody's direction.Jagmohan had nothing to do with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. KP were made targets just because they were not muslims.In 1989-90 some of you (terrorists) had an illusion and u thought KPs a hindrance between u and ur separation from India. You people used to believe the addresses by pakistan PM of that time BeNazir who was religiously instigating Kshmiri Muslims by daily shouting from the pak tv and radio and assuring u Pak support.Do u deny that the terrorism in Kashmir was and is at the pakistan's behest. You are speaking Pakistani language about Kashmiri Hindus exodus from valley, though all of u know the conditions under which they had to leave their mother land.Do u remember the day Jagmohan was sent to Kashmir as governor,the Pakistan PM of that time Be Nazir shouted hoarse and directed her terrorists cadres in Kashmir to cut him into pieces.Such was the effect, of Jagmohan's coming to Kashmir on her that the next day she delivered prematurely! And finally how many names r u using on this board some times ChuniLal koul while some times choudhary. Do u have these names? Have u sought permission of the concerned from ur family?
Thank you ! I would ask everyone of us should go to Kashmir enmass and occupy that land. We had enough of this Pigshit Congress which has reason to continue after independance.
Article 370 continuience is nothing but appeasement. We should scrap this article and declare uniform civil code for us and a different civil code with a different criminal code for the community.

Who was responsible for killing of 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits ???
why 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits are living in delhi, mumbai, jammu etc ???
why Iran supplied weapons to the shias of Kashmir ???
why tourism failed in kashmir ???
Why Kashmiris are buying properties in spree in rest of India ???
You are worried for 750 killed in Gujrat but is it not legitimate for us to get worried for the 4,00,000 buthchered in Kashmir for their religion.
What you are trying to preach us ??? Do you know the Union Budget expenditure on Kashmir forget the Defence expenditure please check for the sops beinf given to you which are greater than Andhra Pradesh. are you eligible for this sops ???
What your duplicate politicians did to kashmir your Mufti Mohammed, Farooq Abdullah etc these are scavengers of the worst kind.
Lastly you are preaching about non voilence with blood in your hand ??? be aware that Hindus are getting united and your dubious methodologies and practices are making us more united. The comments on the board are the biggest examples. If you dont reform yourself we know how to make you straight. Gujrat is a sample only baba!!
The solution is to have an Exchange of Population between India and Pakistan( and Bangladesh, which should had happened in 1947. Then J&K should be partitioned along the demographic features that was in 1947. This is the only realistic solution.
mr. Junaid if people of Kashmir (those in valley only) have enough power to wrest Kashmir(say valley) from India they will otherwise it is destiny for them and their so called freedom movement to be part of Integral India. good Luck for your effort

People change destinies if they have the will. Gandhiji moved a entire nation to freedom from a global hegemon, the British, India is only a regional player.
I hope for India's prosperity and its people. But as long as India occupies Kashmir illegally, it will remain a black spot on its conscience.

How are You?I am Back, I would like to say that even if Kashmir is black spot from your point of view,let it be; it will act as deterrent for others. buri nazar se bachayega! as far Gandhi is considered he was utter failure in every front of life ( 3rd division pass out, 4 children all useless, could not save partition of India) He was more liability than asset to Nation and no one remembers or wants to practice on his policies. India has suffered enough for Gandhi and his lunatic policies.

Sunil Ji, what do you mean "when you came". I was born in Kashmir. I speak the language of Kashmir. I know its history, and its culture, and I have shared the pain and anguish of my people. And you still think "I came". I am surprised how much Kashmir matters to you. You have nothing to do with it. You don't speak its language or know its customs or rituals. Why should it matter to you.
When you were under British, didn't you want freedom? British also occupied India by trickery, that did not stop the great Mahatma to give a call for freedom. Why should Kashmiris give up. It is their country, the beautiful motherland called Kashmir. If you come their with your weapons you will be treated as enemies, but if you come with no ill will we will treat you like great friends.
The real metaphor is this:
What will you do if someone occupied you in the guise of helping you? When the Hindu Maharaja signed the treaty with India it had no moral force. It is the same as the Nizam of Hyderabad who tried to sign treaty with the Pakistan. But did you accept it at that time. Why should Kashmiris accept a treaty signed by a ruler who was not even the real son of his father?

Dear Rishi, we will save Kashmir together, Pandits and Muslims, from the evil hands of India and Pakistan. We will make it a glorious country as it has been in history.
We should count on the support of Benazzirs and Osmas of the world, neither should we think that any Mondi or advanti can help. As a people we should just believe in opurselves.

U talk of Mahatma and talk violent. Where is Mahatma movement in Kashmir ? Killing your own other religion people was not taught by Mahatma or not in his movement . People like you are VERY GOOD to keep Kashmir in the current state.

In fact we in Kashmir talk more about Mahatma than you in INdia. You have forgotten him altogether in the place of his birth. Gujarat and the fate of Indian Muslims is just one small example. Nelie, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Meerut are other examples.
Violence in Kashmir is because India has sent 8 lakh occupation troops into kashmir. They are laden with heavy weapons. That is why violence is there.
When Mahatma fought with Satygraha he was fighting British, who were decent enough to respect it. Indian state has no decency, it crushes all non=violent and violent movements equally.

Or that matter can you name a single terrorist organisatiom that is fighiting in the name of Hinduism ?? If you are interested goto wikipedia and see there are more Muslim terrorist organisations then all clubbed together. And for your interest not a single one. Srinivas, are you irritated because I spoke of some places where Hindus massacred Muslims? If you go back and read the replies here you will see I have condemned killings of 200 Hindus in Kashmir since 1990.
What do you think Bajrang Dal, VHP, and LTTE is? Hindi violence against Muslims and Christians in India escapes you. It is not surprising, because that is what is taught to you in RSS Shakhas by the wet khaki chaddhis.

Kashmir na thum log tha Srinagara has a Historical link to Patna as it is a city built by Asoka the Great.

Kashmir has another link to your Patna. Our last independent ruler, King Yusuf Shah Chak, was imprisoned by your Mughal Akbar. Our King is buried there. We take inspiration from him. Once Kashmir will be free, we will take his last remains and bury them honourably in Kashmir.
You have used Kashmiri Pandits for your propaganda puposes. Pandits know it.

I appreciate your point. You rightly have a point to ponder over. The main worry of Indians which is stopping freedom to kashmir is Politics (whichever party allows it, they will be called as Gaddar and the other party will exploit this to the hilt and so no party want to take this step) and second, if kashmir is given freedom, the other states also may demand freedom adn ultimately India will become another USSR and break. But, i personally feel that, something should be done to respect the kashmiri peoples' dignity and they must be won over by good deeds and not by rigging elections and sloganeering.
