in that case why we are having so many companies whose employees are soleley depending on US companies order. Why we have billiions of Dollars FE which have come mainly from US exports. Why we have most of the Indian abroad students are in US not in china or russia. Why we are using hardware,software,everything from a-Z developed predominannatly in US. If we are angry on these 7 points have we gutse to boycott US products. Dont talk like fools. Be practical and let us do what is good for country ultimately. Our leaders/rulers are mostly doing the right thing for country. CPM is really a pain in the a??, have done nothing for this country, they halted the progress of this country by accepting money from CHINA whose interest is to undermine india for their growth. Dont fall in to the trap CPM's megalomaniac policies.
Lok Sabha elections should be held at once to get rid of the communists. If they remain influencial, they will cause great damage to the country in the next 2 years.
Since when did CPM get appointed servant of China in India? If the long term and strategic interests of India are of no consequence to them,just because they are sold out other nations,can they not be termed "Anti-National", and be legally proceeded against? And just to shamelessly cling on to power, if Congress continues to support these "Anti-Nationals", is it not time for the nation to rise and punish these gentlemen for their misdeeds by throwing them out of power?

1. Sending 7th fleet in 1972 war to help Pakistan. 2. US President calling Indira Gandhi a %u201Cb*tch.%u201D 2. Sanctions against India on our nuclear test. (Only Russia supported India, and France stayed neutral on the issue.) 3. US stopped Russia from selling Cryogenic rocket technology to India. (during Yeltsin regime) 4. US opposed selling of Super computers to India. (they argued we will use it for nuclear simulations..) 5. US is the only country in the UN Security council who still not supported India's candidature for a permanent membership. (Russia, France, Britain and even China are supporting India%u2019s candidature!!) 6. US lobbied against Shashi Tarur for the UN chief post. 7. Just a month ago US voted against P.Chidambaram for the chairman post of World Bank and supported the candidate of Italy. (US has the highest voting rank in World Bank and Chidambaram was the front runner till then for the post.)
After looking at these list if you still want to lik US a*ss then please go ahead!!!

I think we are also not able to make our position clear.
We can be quite upfront about what we want and hold them responsible for their unfriendly acts listed by you and maybe more. At the same time, we need not antoganise them. We can learn from China, who is playing soft power to the hilt, able to do business with anybody. That they have no qualms with huge Japanese investments is testamount to their practical outlook. We all know, they suffered so much cruelty at the hands of the Japanese, but they have moved on with an eye on the future, with lessons learned. They know, when you are weak you have to blame yourself first, before pointing fingres at others.
We should also realise having a good relationship with USA can benefit us more, as other developed countries will feel more comfortable that way. Anyway, let us not go about creating enemies out of firends, just an extension of our personal lives.

US is weak at the moment and want us! And, it is the right moment for us to get whatever we need from US. who cares abt strategic alliance with US. If they(US) r ruthless, we are also ruthless. Say a 'half yes' to get our nukes.. then we'll take our decisions when the real 'strategic issues' come. If that good for India, with US, then with US OR without US.
We haven't made any commitment to China to make them great at our expense. May be the Commies have made - that is dangerous

Mr Prakash Karat has praised China for being a socialist country. Perhaps he has been there as a guest of the Communist Party of China. The reality in China is that the country practices unfetterred capitalism. It has retrenced tens of millions of PSU employees and surviving PSUs have to look after themselves.

Excellent point, Prem. Yes, indeed, the Chinese are "socialist" only in name. And, Karat should know that.
Look who is talking. Communist Party first have to see on the conditions of the states in which they ruled West Bengal and Kerala. They are no where near China in their policies in terms of progress and growth. Now it is a time for debate real issues in Parliament. Communist Party wanted to avoid debates on major issues. Major Issues in India. 1) How many jobs Communist Party has created for poor since they are in power in last 30 years. 2)How many poor become rich in West Bengal & Kerala. 3)How many industries closed after commies comes in power. 4)How much money is wasted after every agitation by communist. etc....etc....etc.....
