All this while I thought the supreme court was more corrupt than the politicians, film stars. (Sanjay dutt pardoned many a times. Navjot Sidhu walking freely and contesting in elections even after committing a murder.The politicans, the lesser said the better). But this decision by the supreme court have belied my previous thoughts on them. Good going Supreme court.

If you want to make a list of bad peoples then please search in OBC,SC,ST. From that you will find a long lasting list which is not able to provide here due to the limitations of storage capacity of rediff.com........... HA HA HA
And yes this supreme court is the only one non-corrupt, most probably due to the most of the judges are from Upper Cast.
If the government is really sincere and honest about helping OBC, SC, ST and the poor in general, let it start NEW schools, colleges, hostels and libraries EXCLUSIVELY for SC, ST and OBC in every state, district, city and town. Let the government provide these facilities FREE of cost to the deserving. Please abolish quota completely from the remaining schools and colleges. Nobody objects to helping SC, ST and OBC. Blindly reserving a percentage of seats and jobs is highly objectionable.

This all OBC,SC,ST should be kept in a seperate for their special education where they dont have to use more of his brain.
And all upper cast education institutes should be freed from this creatures by shifting them to their institute.
Then we will see who is hiring them ??? May government will also refuse to recruit them due to overdose potentials of this OBC,SC,ST.
As everyone knows (eventhoug this OBC,SC,ST) that what can they do except confilct, protest, etc.

I believe that there should be help provided by giving help to educate the so called OBC/SC/ST since they have been downtrodden for ages. They should be helped to uplift their social presence by education at primary and elemnetry levels by making education compulsory. There will be no need to reserve any seats when they will be given the help they need. And why not make the help criterion to be the financial status rather than the birth status so every one can be helped to uplift their social status. I am born in so called non obc, non sc/st family, but had to struggle very hard tio get the education i got, but felt cheated when someone without any mind or love for the medicine got into medical college. They were from wealthy so called sc/st/obc classes. In end, please abolist all reservation at higher education and provide help based on financial status, not on by birth status!!!
India has been ruled either by foreigners or by upper cast Hindus who never thought of developing the nation instead, they keep influencing there cast and cadre system to rule the country, those who were literate occupied the higher most post in the government and exploit the Dalits and others, those who were not educated built Mandir and dharamshalas to loot the resources of poorest, in south India thousand of temples was built to use utilize the hard earned resources and money of poor Dalits, They created devdasi and other prathas to exploit the women of under privileged Dalits, there are many temples still in which the female servant are kept to serve the pundits and pandas they are not allowed to wear top, they are punished and beaten to death in many case if they tried to hide their beauties from these rude upper caste Brahmins, Every single village has been ruled by some wealthy Mahajan to grab land of poor Dalits by providing higher interest loans and destroying their crops to seize their land, Story didn%u2019t stop here only RSSS and bajrangdal and many other organization were formed to protect the rights and ruling of upper caste Hindus they cheated the lower cast by the name of equality and promised them of equal right which they never deliver even after 60 years of independence, Many chief ministers of Dalits if were chosen has been removed by hook or crook by these central upper caste Hindu government

robbing peter to pay pal ...thats what i would say. I acknowledge the problem of dalits (read "poor" since there is no better definition). So keep quota in primary school/high school /basic college but not beyond. At super specialization level , there shdould be no compromise. Imagine the head surgeon in a crucial operation being someone who has relied on quota to get where he has. undoubtedly he would be somewhat skilled ..but not having gone through the competition drastically reduces his probability of success in a crucial examination of life

Roop, You are very biased and well brainwashed by people like Periyar. 1. Upper caste brahmins never ruled any state or country. People who are ruling are kshatrias. 2. I am from South India. I have never seen any devdasi or brahmins asking women not to wear their tops. I have also visited many temples in rural areas and not just urban temples. It is highly unlikely for this to happen now with so much of media coverage. 3. How many times have you been to any function/meeting conducted by RSS or Bajrangdal? What percentage of people doing the service are upper caste? 4. Actually most of the 60 years after independence was ruled by pseudo-secular parties. You cant blame RSS or Bajrandal for the inequalities. Congress have never done anything good for the people. They just do split and rule vote bank politics. Hope literates like you learn. The problem with upper caste was untouchability. If everyone had focus on just to eradicate we would have been in much better position. Instead eveyone is doing tit-for-tat stuff. To talk about the tolerance of upper caste, there are so many upper caste people who are currently living in extreme poverty and are helpless. Still there is not even a single violence of problem against these stupid caste based reservations (especially in TN where its 69% reservation). People of organizations like DK and DMK have entered temples and created violence against brahmins and broke some of the invaluable artistic idols of god carved with extreme talent that you cannot see anywhere in the world. Hope you guys wake up.
hats offto SC, but i must add, if the SC should allso consider the fact - that "abolition" of this faulty legislation is long over due & also make it known to every body that standard of quality is going down & it will further go down( already standard is at the bottom level) if this continues. CONGRESS' Lollipop game - quota system -worked well at one time! After economis globalisation, adopting same trick WILL PRODUCE DISASTER,as Merit will be held at bay! Ever since indepencence people saw many tactical defaults by Congress policy makers. Another failure will evolve if MERIT is sacrificed by QUOTA system. Cant the planners think of some other method to uplift the backwards? Who are baskwards after all? Will religion/caste/sorrupted methods fetermine it?
