congress is founder of all scientific institutions in this country. it is the founder of liberalisation in the country. it is the founder of the telecom revolution in this country because of which you can make STD calls so easily. It is the founder of the IT revolution in this country beause of which you have a rediff id to write the crap you are writing. Compare it to 6 years of misrule by the BJP. UTI Scam, Tehelka expose, Gujrat riots, goof up in parliament attack, needless Kargil war, coffin scam etc etc. I suppose that is India shining for you!!!! Stop being puposefully blind and think with an open mind. Besides, the last time Congress ruled UP in 1987, it was among the leading industrial states of the country. Now after 20 years it is at the bottom of development in the country.

IT is not an outcome of Congress rule and if we had Congress, we would still have been in STD-PCO age as we wud have to take licence from Indira Gandhi for having a net connection or putting up a blog.[FTV and AXN hav been banned, but Star Plus crap serials continue!] It is our sheer luck that we were able to do something becoz none of the netas neither understood nor were able to manipulate the net. Besides, comparing Nehru family's rule including present govt. with PVN and Vajpayee, we did make a lot of progress, economic liberalisation, IT boom and nuclear test happened in non-gandhi family times. UP, and also Bihar, went down becoz of caste based politics which was nurtured by Gandhi family and Congress, what is Arjun Singh doing? Caste has been an age old way of life there and these people have derogated it instead of abolishing it. People of UP and Bihar and Jharkhand, etc. are still govt. oriented and are still not comfortable to private enterprise, so the age old hukumat and zagirdari is now replaced with mafia. It is simply a politically created social problem which nobody wants to solve. True, that doesnt mean only Congress is bad, but they are no better, BJP gave better governance, but also gave law and order problems and danga-fasad. Congress gave better economics but divided society and created social disparity. Communists and other local netas, if at all they matter, never even gave anything. It is like one party creates trouble and that becomes justification for another party to create trouble. Sadly, today's electorate chooses only the best from the worst they are given to choose. As for Rahul bhaiya, may God be with him[pun intended]. Amen. :)

What about thousands of hectres of land congress govts lost in wars? You are highlighing successes. What about failures. Years of terrorism. Years of communal riots in all over the country. IT and telecom revolution are far better in BJP regiem. Even DTH service etc came during BJP rule. Space program, nuclear program and missile program etc worked far better under BJP. In 5 years BJP did more development than what congress did in 45 years.

Narasimha Rao and his rule seems to be at odds with the current congress regime and it's leadership. There is no liberalization in any case. India went bankrupt due to the megalomaniac designs of nehru and indira for three decades where they dilly dallies between "third world" and moscow, and economy had to make a change there after for it to survive which rao rightfully did. It would have been another disaster with another gandhi at the helm.

Economy started kicking only with Rao and then later Vajpayee's contributions to it. The affection to palestine cause was kept aside and relationship with Israel was pursued and many such inititatives. They took India out of it's ignorance and misplaced prioirities.
most of the fools in this foum keep criticising other parties. so which party is good? BJP??? the party which did nothing during its 6 years except UTI scam, Khandahar scam, coffin scam, tehelka expose, gujarat riots, goof up in parliamanet attack, needless war with neighbouring country etc etc etc. Or will you fools say that it was all the karaamat of Congress from behind??? This is to the "Teri Jaat" whatever. So lets see the achievements of the UPA govt of over the past 3 years
1. Reservations up. Meritocracy flushed down the toilet 2. Country polarized like never before. Yesterday there were just two dimension to the conflict..hindu and muslim..now thanks to the UPA government we have 3 hindu,muslim and xian. 3. Minority Appeasement like never seen before 4. Conversions rampant.Vile and demented Missionaries running amuck 5. Scandals and we all know which ones..Nithari, Nandigram, Q factor, Farmer suicides and the list can go on and on
Anyways whats you high caste do with anything? Why did you even mention it? If you were smart , then you would see immediately that words reservations and high caste dont really rhyme well. Now let me say this bluntly. You are an idiot trying to create a stir on basis of caste. You are not hindu so stick the claims of high caste or low caste up your rear chute. As far as BJP goes, it would serve Hindu interests better. Now before you start meandering into what hindu interest is and how it implies persecution of minority, let me say one word "Baloney". Cut the crap.It is the minority community which under the aegis of the current UPA govt has been actually crusading against hindu interests. It is time that the minority community stopped being hypocritical about the whole Hindutva thing. One should ask the xians and muslims if they voted for UPA for India's progress or their own. The answer is they voted for the UPA for their own interests and now they act up when hindus vote for BJP for their own interests. It is quite clear that secularism stares them in the face only when their interests are not being served else they can create govts like Y(ASS)R in AP to run thru the entire hindu fabric. Long live hypocrisy and long live our divided hindu brothers and sisters. It is time when hindus served their own interests first. National interest would follow given our secular fabric and secular thinking. Minorities need not be worried about that aspect.

May be we are all worried(or sure???) that gullible population would again vote on family name rather than credentials.Man when would be learn?
The young chap has guts and the way mulayam and his popat...Amar singh are upset, its clear that he is giving them run for their money. Hopefully he'll revive Congress if not in these elections but surely in future and after that atleast two development oriented parties - BJP & Congress will rule the state. Mulayam's party should be wiped out for better future of state.
