Its the time India should come out of the psychological defeat of 1962. China has never heard of any international community. If India wants its borders safe then it has to be proactive. It needs to condemn the cultural genocide in Lhasa.It needs to show that it is really a leader of Non Aligned Countries in this unipolar world.

I don't support supplying arms to Tibetan as this will escalate violence in other parts of India. We have also boundary disputes with Pakistan and we continue to negotiate and not suggest any war. The only permanent solution to Tibet issue to have talk with both the parties without escalating violence and India can be mediator and it can influence Dalai Lama.
As for as supplying arms to Pakistan and militans by China, my observation is Americans are also supplying arms to Pakistan and we support Amercians. There can't be two different judgements for a same offence.

The voilence can not solve the problem. How many people have died in India in ethnic conflicts? What if they were your brothers or sisters.

indian foreign policy is slowly inching forward as if there is no policy at all. after the division of ussr we should have moulded ourselves proactively but we were happy to explode a nuclear bomb. we all are aware that the tilt in this world rotate around economy and japan china have harnessed it very efficiently to their advantage. india must come up of a mind other than communists and socialistic mindset as it has not worked well across the world.as regards tibet if we r really sincere and assertive we should tell china pointblank that it is difficult to bear the burden of tibatans any more and they should get their right homeplace with time limit but this stand should come from uno and 5sc members.

While violence cannot solve anything it got Chinese Tibet. The Chineses massacred the Tibetans and destroyed their monastries and worse. They are settling the Han Chinese into Tibet and aims at completely wiping out the culture. Violence could have been avoided had we taken up the Tibetan cause and listened and pressurised China to Listen- nobody did that and now when violence has broken out we are ready to preach non-violence. What should one do if somebody marches into your home ?
