Why does this happen ?
by Sincere Citizen on Jul 28, 2008 01:29 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Because since independence our leadership at the center has been giving in to demands of religious fanatics out of fear. They lack courage to face any religious fanaticism squarely in face.

If Nehru had not given into to Jinnahs fanatic idea we would not have had Pakistan.

Worst that happened later was our political leadership started appeasing the fanatical element under guise of minority support.

Unfortunately BJP were the extreme opposite of Congress. They took up the cause of Hindus and were labelled by Congress and its allies as Hindu fanatics, the Babri masjid incident made that stamp permanent.

The problem is that while Congress does everything to fawn communal hatred it at least verbally always claims to be "secular" and hence is always considered as one.

These bomb blasts are a clear indication that we are our own enemies, because no one from outside can harm us if we are strong and sure of ourselves.

IT is high time that the "winner" govt. does some introspection and for once instead of blaming BJP/RSS takes a tough stand on religious fanatics.

Fact is all Muslims are not terrorists but those who are certainly dont belong here.

I think it is wrong to blame Congress for all the problems created by BJP.

Jinnah has Advani as its Fan. Terrorist were relasead by Vajapyee goverment. And imagine Home minister Advani not knowing about it. This is exactly the type of goverment that terrorist are looking for. Inspite of POTA they attacked the Parliament and Akshardham and other religious places during BJP rule.

BJP is in a way responsible for fanning terrroist by challenging them and rioting all the time in the process many inoccent people die

What do you mean by saying BJP is responsible for fanning terrorist activities by challenging them? Should every policeman after catching a terrorist planed a kiss each on his left and right cheek and then hug him affectionately for the acts done by him?

TErrorists do not udnerstand the language of peace and should be dealt with mercilessly. When Modi tried to do that all pseudo-secular came out protesting him. There is no harm in shooting dead a terrorist without getting entangled in legal war which take years to complete.

If one your relatives were in that hijacked plane should not have cast aspiration against BJP. But since that is not the case, you can blame BJP for the same.

Set your facts right. It is not Nehru who gave in, but Gandhi who insisted that jinnah be made the PM of independent India. Nehru was unwilling to give that post of Jinna and wanted to become the PM himself. It soon became a communal issue with Jinna getting support from his community and attacks on each other started soon. When the riots became out of control and nobody was willing to listen to Gandhi, he said that it is better to divide the country into two. He always had a soft corner for muslims and all the problems today Hindus facring are due to this duo of Gandhi and Nehru

Would you be happy to have Jinnah as Prime Minister???? when you cannot tolerate any Muslims. I think this logic is so illogical. In the same voice you want to make Jinnah as Prime Minister you want to make India Hindurashtra. Get your logic rigth????

No point just blaming for the sake of blaming Nehru and Gandhiji
