Why does this happen ?
by Sincere Citizen on Jul 28, 2008 01:29 PM

Because since independence our leadership at the center has been giving in to demands of religious fanatics out of fear. They lack courage to face any religious fanaticism squarely in face.

If Nehru had not given into to Jinnahs fanatic idea we would not have had Pakistan.

Worst that happened later was our political leadership started appeasing the fanatical element under guise of minority support.

Unfortunately BJP were the extreme opposite of Congress. They took up the cause of Hindus and were labelled by Congress and its allies as Hindu fanatics, the Babri masjid incident made that stamp permanent.

The problem is that while Congress does everything to fawn communal hatred it at least verbally always claims to be "secular" and hence is always considered as one.

These bomb blasts are a clear indication that we are our own enemies, because no one from outside can harm us if we are strong and sure of ourselves.

IT is high time that the "winner" govt. does some introspection and for once instead of blaming BJP/RSS takes a tough stand on religious fanatics.

Fact is all Muslims are not terrorists but those who are certainly dont belong here.
