it will be better if BJP raises no confidence motion so that communists can vote along with them in alliance to prove that communists are also communal.Even if it is vice versa, communists will still prove them to be communal.
IT Is rediculous to oppose nuclear deal which provides for futue enegy security for the nation. By opposing liberalisation in the past, communists denied the growth/ job opertunities for our people.we see the difference now only because we opted for liberalisation. The nuclear power is most essential for us as we can not cope up with energy crisis any more. we need more industries and for that we need more power.Nuclear Power per unit works around RS 1.50 and hence it is economical too. china and pakistan are opposing our nuclear deal.communists always join our enmies as their patriotic credential are questionable . It is proved in 1962 chaina war. They go on opposing liberalisation and nuclear deal because it hits chinese business directly as india will raise as economic power. Communists want india to be perpetually poor so that china will gobble up indian prosperity. We do not want iran pipe line as it passes through pakistan which they will blow in case of war/through terrorist activity. We have to build up good friendship and alliances to beat both pak and china in case of war.We should become strong by having nuclear cover either on our own or through association
IT REDICULIOUS TO OPPOSE nuclear deal.GO head with deal prime m

BJP objects to the deal on the specious argument that it does not permit us to test our nuclear weapons.
The operating word is in the event of nuclear testing. Even here the agreement provides an exception - the right to test if China or Pakistan tests.
No one in the nuclear community believes any more for the need to physically test. They now test through computer simulation using past test data.
This is the reason why Vajpayee government shrewdly went for a series of explosions (5 to be precise) - to generate such a data base.
Having done that Vajpayee gave an assurance to the world through his address to the General Assembly of the UN that India no longer needs to explode any nuclear devise.
So if we are take BJP's present position seriously, was Vajpayee and BJP then in 2000 lying to the world community?

Brother doont come up with Compuer simulation ....................as if we test potentiometer it brings result far away from the practical one ........you are talking of Explosion are you nut ........ In 1998 test we have weapon of only 43 KT and china has 4-5 MT weapon 100 tmes more than us .................... so we need tests to ensure security against china...... doing test is not to show drama on International stage ..........its to decide condition of explosion or to findout error

Deal doesnt mandate us to buy uranium. It can be bought only if we can produce electricity at a good rate. Anyway we have capacity in out nuclear power plants rotting without uranium, its better to sign the deal and get the door opened rather than thinking about cost and shutting the door itself. Price of uranium and oil can go up or down and one will be better than the other at any time. Even if its Rs100 per unit with Nuclear energy, they should still sign the deal just keep an option open as a hedge against oil drying up in another 50years. India needs to live even after you an me dies. Not signing nuclear deal is thinking about proce is like not taking insurance saying I can drive safely.

Hate Who divides maybe right. However:
Costs is relative. Nuclear plants were thought expensive when oil fluctuated in the band USD 20-30 per barrel. Now with oil fluctuating in the band USD 140-150 and expected to reach USD 200, this is no longer the case.
More and more countries are rethinking on the nuclear option, including UK and US. In the US John McCain promised voters 100 new nuclear plants. Though this maybe much of rhetoric, it also suggests that viability of nuclear power is being seen under new lens.
Secondly, the deal permits technological transfer. So we able to increase the efficiency of our nuclear power generation, which should able us to cut costs

McCain is blowing gas for his far right crowd. the reality is nuclear power is not viable. here is a quaote from recently ublished report -- "That’s all false. In fact, nuclear power is continuing its decades-long collapse in the global marketplace because it’s grossly uncompetitive, unneeded, and obsolete—so hopelessly uneconomic that one needn’t debate whether it’s clean and safe; it weakens electric reliability and national security"
