The criminal activities in bihar is well known. You can expect the criminals and murderers occupying ministerial berth in bihar. Now this news of students demanding their rights(!!), is not a surprising one. And more than that some biharis are in this forum , justifying those things, and even some one went to an extent telling that he is ashamed to tell as indian and not a biharian. This shows typical mentallity of biharian. Anyway let biharian think why they are moving as labours to mumbai or some other parts of india, and no body from other parts of india are moving to bihar.

premjith, you are referring to my comments. I don't indorse cheating in schools, but I don't accept the idea that only Bihar has problems and all other places are problem-free. If you compare India to USA/Europe, India has a lot more big problems that you don't want to admit. So here is the deal, if you are ashamed of being Indian, I will be ashamed of being Bihari.

The sheer fact that students go on rampage because they werent allowed to cheat is a reflection on the attitude prevelant in Bihar. The same hasnt happened in other parts of the country yet and we are proud of that. What is worrisome is in Bihar,it is demanded as a right! But, in the last sentence there is a statement saying that since syllabus was not finished the students demanded that they be allowed to copy.I ask, if syllabus was not completed, why didnt the students revolt then? Why wait to cheat at the exams? Isnt that a reflection of the attitude of taking the easiest way out? Answer me this and dont bring other problems/countries/communities etc, into a discussion about this specific incident!

As if cheating is a news and it happens only in Bihar. The great cheaters like Kaavya Viswanathan (whose debut novel, How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life, was found to have been plagiarized from multiple sources) are not Bihari. The truth is that the use of "unfair means" can be easily seen all over World. A national survey by Rutgers' Management Education Center of 4,500 American high school students found that 75 percent of them engage in serious cheating. More than half have plagiarized work they found on the Internet. Perhaps most disturbing, many of them don't see anything wrong with cheating: Some 50 percent of those responding to the survey said they don't think copying questions and answers from a test is even cheating. Bihar is not much different from America as far as cheating is concerned.

India belongs to Bihar and not the other way round. History is the witness. The bihari symbol of Ashoka chakra on India's national flag confirms that. Be thankful to the Biharis that they allow you to live in India. South indians - what did you do to free india from Britishers? It was Bihar (Champaran) which gave Mahatma Gandhi a break. It was Bihar which opposed Indira Gandhi's Emergency. While you people are busy in regionalism, we Biharis have to think about India!

You are concerned about migration of people from Bihar; but you have no problems in using Bihar's natural resources that have been feeding the industries of the whole india. Moreover, going to places like mumbai for work is not migration; Mumbai was part of the ancient Bihar (Magadh); so it's my own land. Marathi language, that is why, is close to Bihari languages.

everybody knows what is the state of affairs in bihar.....remember that it is the people and their mentality which reflects in the place where they live....a few exceptions may be found here and there but on the whole a community shows same traits...no community can be as dangerous, rowdy, corrupt and shameless as the biharis (am speaking on the whole and not about those exceptions)

hahaha that is the funniest thing i have ever heard. by the way where do you get all this stuff from? I would like to read it..you know so i can improve my general knowledge. Its good to have an idea because you never know tomorrow you might say 'America and Australia were a part of bihar as well but they eventually got seperated due to the tectonic drift!" LOL
