  RE:Manual of Facism

Mr.abhinav, no religion has ever stopped people from committing crimes. Pl search for "War Crime Tribunal" to know about the atrocities committed by the participants of World War-II (especially by the Japanese, predominently beleiving in Buddhist non-violence). The less we speak of other religions, the better.

The principles of Buddhism (Panchsheel and Eight-fold path) are much more refined than the principles of any other religion. The Buddhists think of the well-being of all living things (not only humanbeings). Btw I am not a buddhist.

The other day I could not continue the dialogue with you. What exactly you understand by "Advaita" of Adi Shankara? If there is one god, there could be many gods also! Why you want to fall into the same religious dogmas of the followers of Semitc religions?

Adi Shankara claimed that every thing is "maya" So would you beleive that the clothes you are wearing is also a "maya"? Then why to wear that? Think of that.

Accordingly Brahma is the emodiment of universe. Another aspect of Advaita is it calls to shed "ahankara" by saying "aham Brahmasmi" because you are no more you.

Though formless Brahman is one of aspects of Advaita it is more of philosophy than a Theology. Theists consider Brahman of Sankaracharya as God. But from an Aethistic point of view Brahman is Universe itself. (read "Bhagavathgeeta & Big bang). Another main teaching of Advaita is that Mukthi is acheived only by Jnana. Also another teaching of Advaita is Maaya which explains how humans are deceived by illusion.

Advaita means a very inclusive concept. In breif "aham Brahmasmi" means that "I am Brahma".It means there is no ditinction between jeevatma & paramatma. Both are one and the same. (It reminds David Attenbrough saying in one of his features that everything you posses, the gold, the money in your bank all are remenants of a star).
According to Shankara, Brahma is nirguna nirakaara( formless, attributeless).
And there are other Advaitis like Shivadvaitis and Shivalinga which the Anti-Hindu use to defame Hinduism represents that form less Eshwara. And the same reason for which Brahma does'nt find any temples in Hinduism because he is formless.
It does not call for a one god concept. So many people call AdiShankara as "crypto Buddha", esecially Hindus from other schools.

I never said Adi Shankara was inventor of Advaita. He was only a propogator under the Guidance of his Guru Shri Gaudapada. Adi Shankara gave interpretations from Upanishads.

Rationalist, pl read "Volga to Ganga" to know how that "formless, attributeless" god was invented when people lost faith in "Indra, Varuna, Agni, etc". Have you read Yajur Veda which deals mainly with the rituals? The prayers are mostly addressed to "Agni". The primitive tribes were in awe of Fire. Even today the Parsis worship only fire and their palce of wroship is known as "Fire Temple".

Btw there not much difference between hinduism and atheism. The hindus pray for relief from the "cycle of birth and death" the atheists beleive that every thing ends here. So we are achieving what the hindus achieve by praying!!

Dear abhinav, freedom struggle has nothing to do with religion. On the contrary, we ended up dividing our country in the name of religion.

Pl visit the web of "Actual Freedom - the third Alternative" This is an alternative to organized religions. It will also enrich your knowldge about the reasons for some of our basic traits and possible soulutions for the same. All the best.

Beleive in the principles of neo-humanism. Believe in modern civil laws and after all beleive in yourself.

Yes, I do agree that the muslims are more dogmatic than the followers of any other religion and the swear by some imaginary "Ummah".

I also post messages citicizing their dogmas but I do not harbour any hatred for the muslims (or the followers of any religion for that matter). We all should try to get rid of the religious dogmas. There is no place for such things in today's world driven by science and technology. What ever progress has been achieved by mankind were due to the tireless efforts of scientists and technocrats. No religious leader has ever invented any gadget!

Nishna, you cannot make us understand your religion by abusing us. If you want us to know, tell us in a civilized way.

M. JGN if you want to know about Islam , go and get a translated Koran and read it first, and also the supporting documents of Koran called Hadit which you can buy from Islamic book shop. Read it and understand it, then come to me if you have further doubt on Islam. What happening today in the name of Islam is unfortunate, and we cannot call them as Muslims, because in Islam it is not permisible to kill innocent people or terrorization. These are few outlaw people like Dawood Ibrahim ( a shame for Islam) doing only for their own sake for money or some thing else. If these people follow the teachings of Islam and Mohammad then will they never do these activities. Sorry in my message I used some strong words against you because your accusation about my religion is unacceptable.

Rationalist it is not a coincidence, but it is because of lack of knowledge about Islam and its teachings, half knowledge is dangerous and I can say most of the Muslim they don't know complete history of Islam and its teachings. Islam teach to respect all religions, Islam teach us peace, (salam or Islam = peace) Islam teach us to respect our neighbors, Islam doen't permit you kill the people in the name of Allah or Jihad. What is Jihand ? Even most of our Muslim brothers don't know exact meaning of Jihad. Jihad means struggle, in our life we have to struggle all the time, to fight for this struggle and over come on these it is Jihad, for Jihad many meanings are there, Jihad means not killing the people, if only your religion is under attack or in danger then you have to take jihad (struggle) it may be through a war or through arbitration you settle this. You can yourself read it , you can get a translated Koran in Islamic bookshops and supporting Hadit. Just brain washing other people against Islam and Muslims is not reward anyone, just find out the truth. If Islam is a Ruthless religion why people accept Islam every day and how it become second biggest religion of the world after christianity ? I accept some outlaw people in my religion doing these activities , but it is not for the sake of Allah or Mohammad, they are doing this for their own sake of of money, like Dawood to whom I hate him at all.

Mr.Nishna, I have read 2 versions of The Quran (English translations) and know for sure what its contents are. It is a book filled with absurdities, contradictins, etc. While the good muslims like you quote the good verses, some others (mostly the Mullahs) quote tha hate-filled verses and motivat impressionable youth to "fight in the cause of Allah". Btw have you read The Quran you fully understand? Or you know only what the teacher in the Madrassa told you?
