SL President Rajapakse's decision to go for military solution is a hgh stakes game. If at all Tigers hit at the North and take back Jaffna completely, the consequences will be felt beyond Sri Lanka.
Then it will be too late for foreign intervention because the momentum will be towards a declaration of separate state (Tamil Eelam).
It is in everyone's interest that Sri Lanka acts honorably and treats the Tamil people fairly. This way we can concentrate on peace and development all around in India and SL.
India cannot ignore this mess for long and wait for something big to happen.

Hmm Ur rite...But Its similar to Kashmir...Wat Kashmiris says is wat we Tamils in SL say..If we are against Terror in Kashmir and applying the same Logic we all should be against LTTE..They are destroying the beautiful country. Wat did the LTTE achieve in the last 24 years of war. NOTHING ZERO and they can never achieve anything in future either apart from bloodshed. Dont call LTTE Hindus....they are terrorists...and they have no religion jus like the terroriss operating in Kashmir or Naxalites or ULFA

What are you writing.. what have I written? I am talking about what will possibly happen militarily.. you are talking about Kashmir, Sri Lanka, Naxals, LTTE.. Read what I have written before you comment. I did not support any side.. all I said was Rajapkse wants a military solution which can backfire. I said India must keep an eye only because it can blow up.. If it blows up and LTTE gets the upper hand, a state will be declared.

Jackson...wat i meant was when kashmiris say Indians are not treating honourable (I mean the terrorsts say in Kashmir) and we Indians never accept tat as we feel everyone is traeted equally in India and we wont allow India to be partioned again. Same would be the case for Srilanka...LTTE would say Tamils are not being treated well in SL, but the SL Govt and the general ppl ( Especially Sinhalese) would say everyone is being treatd equally and they wont allow any partition of thier country

My advice to you is read a bit more and then discuss the Sri Lankan Tamil issue. The you will understand the genesis of the problem. I think you have zero knowledge os SL Tamils problems.

If u or the other supporters of LTTE has more knowledge then u shud have had peace in the island by now...24 years of violence achieved nothing..The SL Govt is making money on this by getting aid etc and other hand LTTE is raising money in european and American countries by hypnotising ppl to blindly support violence and murder

My dear Kiran: The Tamil issue is different from Kashmir issue. Kasmiris were asking for a separate country not separate state. Kashmir was given a separate state and the Muslims are the majority. They rule the state. The Sri Lankan Tamils are asking for a separate state and the Sinhala racist does not want to give. If the do not want to give then they have to give the Tamils a separate country. Due to LTTE today at least the world knows about the Tamils problem. They had made sacrifices and mistakes. I am a tamil from India.I was born and raised in Chennai..
Believe me, majority of tamils in Tamil Nadu have the same feeling. We dont give a shit to how those ppl suffer in SL. I wish all the SL Tamils die and bring peace to south Asia..

i apologize for saying that but if any indians tamilians want to have SL tamilians dead, then i would rather the indian tamilian be dead. Why? because SL tamilians have done nothing bad but fight for their rights. they deserve our respect, whether from north or south india.
