SL President Rajapakse's decision to go for military solution is a hgh stakes game. If at all Tigers hit at the North and take back Jaffna completely, the consequences will be felt beyond Sri Lanka.
Then it will be too late for foreign intervention because the momentum will be towards a declaration of separate state (Tamil Eelam).
It is in everyone's interest that Sri Lanka acts honorably and treats the Tamil people fairly. This way we can concentrate on peace and development all around in India and SL.
India cannot ignore this mess for long and wait for something big to happen.
