So definitely there is a problem between them, agree?? a boy giving the cheapest car to his girl friend. And making it official??
Sounds strange for me. I can understand giving a costly car and making it a news. This is to impress the girl friend. But giving the cheapest car and making a news?? whenever boys give a gift they will try to give the costliest thing, if they cannot give costly things then they will not make news of it. If they make news then it is hurting the girl friend.
So what is happening here?? did she hurt his sentiments when he was jailed? are the breaking up?? did she sleep with somebody when he was in jail??
what is happening?? why he is giving such a cheap car as gift when he could gift her a car worth of crores?
Well tata may be using it as a business trick or advertisement, but no loving boy friend wants to hurt his girl friend by publicly gifting some thing less expensive.

I am not trying to build a hill out of a rat hole. It was so strange looking gesture from Dutt gifting a 1 lac car to his GF. Now she herself is so rich, is she going to it? it has no AC, no side mirror etc. Why would she use it??
Now why didn't dutt by for himself?? why is he gifting??
Well I do feel that this is to stimulate other boys to give a gift to their GFs this car. Obviously Tata must have used it as a business trick.
I think that is what it is. But it is bit insulting to a GF. I do not think a fully loving boy friend will feel comfortable to gift a cheap item.
I can understand if a class 4 worker gives this car as a gift to his GF then it is a great gift if she is also poor or class 4. It is like showing how much that BF lives his GF. But here these people are millionaires, so it is very strange.

Will you gift a pulsar/harley davidson to your girlfriend or a scooty? Though girls can drive cars than they drive motorcycles, they go by the cute factor..
