Evrybody is corrupt
by jet on Mar 25, 2008 08:41 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

when a person gets a traffic ticket in India, instead of paying the fine , he will give half of the fine as bribe to the police and escape. In evry thing it is the people who dont follow rules and encourage corruption. dont blame the administration, it is the common man who is corrupt. As the saying goes meran bharat mahan , sou me se ninyanve beyimaan.......

i am going to suggest it to the government to take this money as "expediting service fees" or "hush charges".. they have tatkal train tickets.. so whu not tatkal everthing.. atleast you can pay by cheque and the finance minister make money for the country by collecting service tax ,.. and most important all this will be deductable as business expenses.. so everyone is happy.. what a good idea

Here's an instance for you: Bearing in mind India is a poor country(I dont say this, the congress government says this). You are driving a bike. You have neared the signal and there is a huge truck infront of you because of which you can not see the signal. While you were crossing the signal turned red. you couldnt see it and got caught by the policeman. Now he asks you for the lisence(Why? Could he not see what happened?). You know if you give him the lisence you will have to go and collect from the RTO(Possibilities are that you might have to go to the court of law). Now the policeman asks you for your vehical papers(WHY? how is breaking signal linked to the vehicle papers?) Then he will ask you for PUC. Then he will ask you for the Insurance papers(WHY? how linked?) - Its obvious that some of the papers you might just not be carrying, not because you dont want to but because if you keep it in the dicky of the bike they might just rot away(They indeed do!). And the he will shamelessly tell you, "its a very big crime that you have done breaking the signal", as if its more henious a crime than crushing some people under your land crusier while they were sleeping. At this time you are reminded of the salman case and you think, if the whole bloody system couls not break a hair of Salman and he bribed his way out of the shit why sould I be penalized. And so the first thought got planted in you! Now you are told to pay 1200 bucks for breaking the signal and all the other blah

....other blah which only the policeman knowns what is law and what is not. Remember the first statement, India is a poor country? Obviously you dont have 1200 bucks in your pocket. So, you are asked to keep your bike and get the money and collect the bike from the court. You know what's going to happen of your bike. and so you say "I'm ready to pay 50 bucks" and alas! you ARE a free brid to fly away(on your bike)
