Icici atm's store only Rs.100 notes. Max notes that u can draw from atm is 40. Hence 100x40=4000. each time u draw money from atm, charge is Rs.300/- if i have requirement for 20,000/- then charges for withdrawing money from my card is 1500 & service charges & taxes & god only knows what other charges...
They never have 500's or 1000's.
Cheat's

I disagree with this generalisation. I regularly withdraw from ATMs. Always get a combination of 500 and 100 or 1000 and 100 rupee notes. There is no charge for withdrawal.

it is possible Sunil that you have a credit card and do a cash withdrawal on which obviously there is a 2.5% charge I think (I have never withdrawn cash on my credit card)

Please post some useful things instead of such an illogical one - don't ever say u don't get 500's in ATM's...
Also, if you don't have senses and want to withdraw money on loan from ur credit card, didn't u know all this before getting the credit card?? credit card interests are definitely high and that's true with any bank..why to pinpoint one bank?? don't blame a bank for ur inability to plan and spend.
