You forgot to mention the other genius sports administrator of our -- Mr. KPS Gill of the Indian Hockey Federation.
This guy, who thinks the word "harass" is actually two words, has managed to take Hockey to its nadir and has shamelessly stuck to his chair like a limpet.
1.Indian batting was not upto the mark against bangladesh.Most of them were out of form.Dravid won the toss and thought it would be better to take the pressure of chasing in such a crutial match than to take the pressure of batting first.
2.SL were reeling after 20 overs with three main batsmen out.It was time to go for the kill.Dravid opted a defensive field with no slips and keeping a few close in fielders.SL batsmen scored runs freely in ones and twos with no risks being taken.They didnt even played a lofted shot till 40 overs.
3.Agarkar after a so long bowled well(22 runs in 7 overs).He got his reward.He was underbowled and sachin bowled 2 extra overs giving away 22 runs.
4.He comes at no 5 when three imporant wickets have fallen and india were put under tremendous pressure.When we have such a flexible batting line up that anybody can play anywhere then why didnt he came at no 4 when two quick wickets have fallen.
With such idiotic displays as captain he had the arrogance not to consult any of the senior cricketers and could say that the defeat is collective responsibility.Where was the collective responsibility when india was getting defeated under Ganguly.Dravids batting form being a captain is no better than ganguly.He may have won 17 matches chasing on a trot but we forget that we won against teams which were weaker and trying to group and also that we won in this sub continent pitches.The SL team that were thrashed during making of the record can now beat us any day any where.They improved while we went back to the stone age of indian cricket.
Still some people say Dravid and Chappel deserve a wecond chance.They had no stategy against Bangladesh.They continued their experimentations till the SL series at home 2007 when all other teams have a stable team.SL didnt even bother to bring their two main strike bowlers who eventually wrecked the indian batting in WC.
For me and all unbiased people with some grey matter in their head It should be end of Dravid/Chappel era.

Thats what u see .Either i am a ganguly fan or dravid fan.I am neither.i dont expect ganguly as captain.For me Yuvi should be made the captain and the trio should give full support to him both on and off hte field.And regarding gangulys place in the team.See his record in the matches he played after coming back in the team.If he would have been recalled earlier he would have played better.U would say he played slowly against Bangladesh.Y dont u look at the scenario .Four wickets have fallen.Only Dhoni was there after him.If he had played a shot and got out u would have said he should be kicked out of the team.We all know what happenned after his dismissal.Dravid also played slowly in that match.Nobody talks about him.I remember in the last SA series india were chasing a target of over 250 and were 4 wickets down with almost no score.Dravid made half century in 170 balls even knowing that with such slow pace india couldn't have won the match.After the match everybody praised dravid for his knock. Here India were setting the target and 191 was good for a team like bangladesh(SL bowled them out for less than 150).When sachin started to play slowly every critic started saying he changed his style and it suited indian batting.But Sourav have to hit sixes and fours and score at more than run a ball even though the othter batsman is Uthappa who was playing like a pinch hitter and sehwag who does not know to defend the ball and was out of form for the last one year.As far as i see ganguly is in a no win position and biased people like u will always find fault in him.No matter what u think he won us plenty of matches and will do so in the coming years if given the support he gave to all the youngsters.Tell me how many youngsters have come who made a mark under dravid when his moto was to crop oldies()tageted ganguly) and bring fresh blood,compared to ganguly's captaincy.Ask urself and you will find the answers.
If u have any valid point to sya then reply otherwise there is no need to ask such lame questions.
What ever team you select,even if you hire ricky ponting or Gibbs india will still loose the match...no one can handel the pressure exerted on them..our media and criket crazy nation...very difficult to handel...our team is very good ...but pressure is to be blamed...It is always better to go as underdogs then favorites..
It is easy to make comments on players from outside...i challange that it is the best team we ever had...but we were unlucky...
Guys, it is very easy to blame /abuse somebody and for that matter our cricketers are easy meat for all you foul speaking so called cricket fans .. being disappointed is one thing and being immature is another .. let us try to be mature cricket fans , not some street fighting low level and cheap fellows ... Chappel and dravid deserve atleast couple of more series .. u cant blame a coach if your so called senior and experienced guys cant deliver .. certainly, u cant expect Greg to coach sachin how to bat . do u ?? sachin along with bhajji and agarkar needs to be rested .. rahul stays captain, yuvraj should be the vice captain ... ask sourav to start playing as he used to before instead of being unusually slow ... Dhoni to be rested for a couple of series and dinesh karthik to replace him... any drastic changes would only harm indian cricket

How many series Dravid and Chappel want's.In the last 2-3 they played many series and perform upto the mark that India deserve according to the players in the team.Most of the world top players in the team.I totally want to blam to chappel and Dravid who tried every negative thing priviously.Too much experiment with the team batting order badly making strategies.If the player don't know what he has to do in the field what anyone they can do.Totally Stupid approcach to play.
Everyone should questioned in indian team. Even yuvraj also.Nobody can rescue. Talking about sachin.. in earlier times he will blast the offside balls, but nowadys he is leaving all off side balls, that shows his lack of confidence. what made him to lack confidence?? he was telling that i was not 17???? is it correct answer.... no. Ricky ponting is 32yrs old just one less then sachin.. Mcrath is 37 yrs Hayden 35 gilchrist 35 the list keep going on....
I was a great fan of sachin... all i want to do is just goahead and hit and play normally as before...or atleast hit and out dont get out playing worst defence shorts. if not he may retire .. that is the best option...

My suggetion is to axe him .... i wonder if selectors can do that , cause they are afraid to move agaist him

Munaf was the third highest scorer for our specialist batsmen Indian team in the recent times..
parthiv plays confidently even against australian attack at his 17..saurav even fears of bangla attack at his 34
laxman was known as he can play only aus bowling well..something there in him..

I agree on many valid points, particularly about Greg's success rate in the first year. We still do not know who was responsible for the change in direction since then. Greg is a professional, so he certainly won't air his views or disagreement in public until his term ends. In my view, the Board must have the courage to back up Greg and Dravid for atleast one more year and plan the transitory phase with balanced judgment. Non-performers must be shown the door and the youth and energy welcomed. Above all, the Board must have a full time CEO, a cricket-savvy professional, who must be given the mandate to run BCCI like a corporate house accountable to the stakeholders.
