All foreigners find Mumbai very filthy and stay away from it. Hardly any foreign tourist visits Mumbai. Apart from Mumbai there is no famous city in the ghattee land. On the other hand UP/Bihar get maximum number of foreign tourists. Bihar is flooded with Buddhist tourists. While in UP Agra/Fatehpur Sikri, Varanasi, and Lucknow get a lot of foreign tourists. May be they should shift the UNO headquarter in Sangli and then ghattees will also get a lot of tourists!

You are stupid. But it's not your fault. It goes with the territory. Anyway. Mumbai is filthy because of all the Bhaiyyas. Take them back and it will be clean. Look at Varanasi and Agra for example. Agra is full of filth just outside of 1 KM Radius from Taj Mahal. Mathura has open gutters and there are Mithai shops along the gutters. They make Samosas, Kachoree just above the sewage in Mathura. Make me wanna puke. Take all the tourists of the world to your BiMar state. That won't change a thing. You are backward and will remain so.

If you are smiling because thousands of Bimarees left Maharshtra then that makes you stupid. No, my fault, STUPIDER. Raj Thackeray is laughing. I don't support him. But this guy "No South" ha started crossing the limits of decency. And I have to speak in a language he understands. Your main jobs are in the Railways which that joker Lalu runs as his own private company and hires only bimarees. Maharshtrians still have jobs and will have jobs. People who pass examination by mass copying, people who get fake dgree certificates and mark sheets are taking away jobs of qualified people. I am not saying jobs should be given to Maharashtrians only. Give it to whoever is qualified for the job. A concept new to many Upites and Biharees where caste decides everything.

intrepid - excellent. i appreciate all your remarks which reflects our rich maharashtrian culture. but it is like giving Geeta teachings to Donkeys. afterall these up/biharis are no less than donkeys, will not understand geeta. thats why what MNS has done is right thing - lato ke bhoot baton se nahi mante.
If Raj Thackeray is bad, some people on this forum are worse. Raj Thackeray and his MNS represent about 5% maharashtrians. There are many Marathi people who oppose his views and policies. But we all tend to generalize. I won't be surprised if some Marathi speaking Congress or BJP supporter become MNS supporters. It is time to unite. We all have to undo what Raj has done. Some people who are well educated , computer savvy and fluent in English have generated more hatred because of their stupid posts on this forum. The riots were between Marathi and UP/Bihari people. But looks like this has engulfed entire India. It looks like people are taking their anger out using this article as an excuse. I've read UP-Bihari Vs. Punjabi, South Indian Vs. North Indian, Kannadiga Vs TamiLians hate posts on this forum. Looks like we are too intolerant. It is time to see through Congress-MNS's gameplan and turn the tables on them. Are you guys upto it?
Why should anyone (UP/Bihari or anyone else) respect the ghattees? What have the ghaattees done to deserve any respect from anyone? Their language is primitive. Their dress sense is strange. For example their women wear lungis parted in the middle, and then the ghattees have the guts to make fun of the lungis of South Indians! Therefore, I believe that giving any respect to the ghattees is like appeasing an inferior culture. If we respect inferior cultures, pretty soon we will all become uncivilized just like the ghattees, and their ilk. In my opinion, left to its own devices, ghaattee culture, along with its people, will end up in the dustbin of history.

Marathi and primitive ? You are kidding. If Marathi women wear Saree parted in the middle, looks at how women from other states wear sarees. It is just like a lungee.
You guys won't become uncivilized by respecting Marathi culture, you are already uncivilized. I don't know which state you are from. But if you are from UP or Bihar , and you think you are civilized then think again. Ruminate, Mull over. And we don't want to turn our state into UP-Bihar. Nobody likes you.

why are you wasting your time with these bhaiyyas? When a dog barks let it bark, you dont need to bark back. We need to focus on what we, as maharashtrians, do in the future. I propose the following things a. Change the marathi script back to Modi. b. For ration cards, driving permits and all licenses issued by the state government introduce marathi speaking requirements. c. All taxi/rickshaw drivers must compulsorily speak, read and write marathi d. License all construction workers, day laborers etc and enforce marathi speaking requirements. e. License all street vendors only if they speak marathi. f. Finally we must adhere to our own cultural standards and shut down broadcasts if they are offensive to our culture. In other words we need to form a Maharashtra based censor board (only adjucated by maharashtrians) that can deal with the crap that is spewing out of TV g. Finally we need to train all young adults and adults with dissimilar combat tactics in case we need it in the future.

I think a fine ambassador of the great ghattee culture is Ms. Rakhi Sawant. I really love her latka-jhatka dances. Recently when she beat up her boyfriend on the TV, the great Maharashtrian culture was on a fabulous display. Ha Ha Ha!
