principle, ideology, straight forwardness etc etc. are untouchable for politicians. whoever may be the politician. BJP or DMK all have the same aim. POLITICS. Had BJP have alliance with DMK? yes. Had BJP have alliance with AIADMK? yes. Had they have fight with them? yes. a time may come when BJP call karunanithi as an avatar of RAM. wait and see. Hence there is no permanent enmity and permanent friendship in politics.

Sadly in India, most of the ethics boils down to "Can you spare 10 rupees". Do you think the farmers will be happy with loan waivers, they will be as dissatisfied as fishermen in Tsunami-reconstructed houeses.
We should be empathetic on farmer suicides. How can the government allow the folks who feed others to die? C'mon do not come up with "Farming is profitable with lot of subsidies et al". Govt shud take concrete steps and publish the fact finding rport to the country, else the only way is to give agriculture in Ambanis' control.
this is great news from rediff, no other media reported it (not even BBC or CNN). Many people in the world had sleepless nights now they can sleep well, including our PM. Congratulations Rediff and keep the good work. This reporter should be given Barath bushan or even nobel prize.
Maran was sitting just behind Lalu Prasad during the presentation of Railway budget. The way he was trying to lough on every utterence of Lalu Yadav gave me an impression that he is looking for some cheap publicity. Now with this news I assume that the impression is right. He has lost his sense of dignity. It is sad to be a contemporary of such degraded socio-political period.
Finally good to know that marans and Nidhis are together. Thanks rediff for publishing this news. Now we can be assured of Good governance , economic growth and better foreign relations. We can all sleep in peace. Entire world was waiting for this to happen . :-)

The Name Kanimozhi is the manifestation of Supremo's say in politics. "Any Tom, Dick and Harry can be made a minister" (Even though they a zero in current affairs and "Any person talking Tamil be termed as Kavignat" (Even though no literary stuff has come out of the said person).
Read the "ganging up against Azhagiri and Kanimozhi" as "Mutiny against MK"
