Sadly in India, most of the ethics boils down to "Can you spare 10 rupees". Do you think the farmers will be happy with loan waivers, they will be as dissatisfied as fishermen in Tsunami-reconstructed houeses.
We should be empathetic on farmer suicides. How can the government allow the folks who feed others to die? C'mon do not come up with "Farming is profitable with lot of subsidies et al". Govt shud take concrete steps and publish the fact finding rport to the country, else the only way is to give agriculture in Ambanis' control.
