OK, Why write reclaim it then.
As a Muslim, it is wrong to take money from the government for HAJJ. HAJJ is an INDIVIDUAL religious duty. Government has nothing to do with it.
I do not expect the government to help me with the goat sacrifice. Hajj is no different.
Constitutionally, the government has no authority to give Hajj subsidies or run temples. It can help with the paper work to facilitate visas (and change fee for that). But there should be absolutely no financial assistance towards HAJJ.

if taking money to go for haj is haram then why do you people take the haram money As someone said Perhaps our self-righteous and petty Kashmiri politicians in India's only Muslim-majority state should reflect over these facts and tell us whether they think it is at least their moral if not political obligation to be more caring and sensitive to Hindu pilgrims visiting Amarnath. If we can do so much for Indians going on a pilgrimage abroad, should we not be able to do as much if not better for pilgrims at home? the muslim where he is in a majority wants the minority to have no rights & does everything to crush the minority & where he is in a minority then cries & wants special rights to protect him ........wake up my fellow HINDUS & rally againstn the papal congress & the chinese traitorous commies who then combine to crush HINDUS & give HINDU money to the ingrats

Public property is not the same as governemnt property. The government is the custodian of public property.
The state government of Kashmir has no right to give away public land to anyone without the consent of the people. This can be done by either putting the measure on the ballot or by a vote in the state assembly.

If it's people's property then you should know who are those people...Kashmiri-hinuds since vedic time (it's very sad that they are living in refugee camp in their own country now as refugee)

the thing is .... we secualr hindus dont object to it . but it pains when .the hardcore religious elements in other religions act in an extremly communal way . this kind of foolhardiness is converting the moderate hindus into the likes of shiv sena and bajrang dal/

what public land ? it's govt. land and govt has right to utilize it for providing shelters and toilet facility to the pilgrims . It's not as big deal as govt subsidy to haz pilgrims every year.
Why to adopt a double std and do hue-n-cry over peaceful issue. This is a plain hypocracy .

@Imran, I see a point here. In normal circumstances Govt has no right to claim public property. Can you provide more details about the title of the property and records relating to it.

This is surely not a private property. It is currently not leased. I am not sure of the title but it is in the custody/care of the state forest ministry.
By all accounts, it is PUBLIC property (Unless someone can prove otherwise).
This is failed governance.
I am against article 363. I want Kashmir to be a part of India.
This is how India messes it up.
Would Maharashtrians be comfortable if their PUBLIC property for givern to some Muslim/Christian trust...Absolutely no.
Even if we take religion out of it, government does NOT have the authority to allocate land and give out PUBLIC land to any one else, unless there is a legislation passed and proper bidding takes place.
We need to get out of this Raja-Praja mentality. Government is not the KING that goes on distributing land.
This applies to all state governemnt.
The totally disagree with Kashmiris resorting to violence. They could have easily won this in the courts.
What should the Hindus do to restore the lost glory of it's ancient religion?
I think the Hindus are not proud of their own religion and hence they need Government protection for their own survival.. If all the Hindus of India become aware about the true authenticity and scientific teaching then they will be proud of itself to the point where there would be no theart of conversions or attack by muslims...
So what can ordinary Hindus do to spread the knowledge of Hinduism to Indian Hindus? Forget about to others...

Tell them about their great forfathers....Tell them to read about Swami-Vivekananda his literatures and his sacrifes to Hindusim. He told to the world in 1890 in Parliament of world relision at chicago in USA that hindusim is the solution of all the problems of the world........DO you know in his honour the name of the street which goes from chicago station to parliament house is ,Vivekananda street,.He said i knew Hindu relision & I proud to be Hindu...

Swami-Vivekamanda said in 1890 in parlliament of world relision ; Mohamad was at higher stage relative to an ordinary man but he did,t know how he reached there .He him self accepted that a prophet came and took me in acave where I got knowledge. He did,t follow definite way (yoga;yam ,niyam ,aasan,Prnayam.... )like other great people so he had mixture of knowledge & blemishes . This mixture is now known as Koran .Vivekanand said thatit is clearely written in Koran that if you (muslims) love some one who does not bellong to your relision then try to convert his relision or kill him ....What a holy Koran..
