This is surely not a private property. It is currently not leased. I am not sure of the title but it is in the custody/care of the state forest ministry.
By all accounts, it is PUBLIC property (Unless someone can prove otherwise).
This is failed governance.
I am against article 363. I want Kashmir to be a part of India.
This is how India messes it up.
Would Maharashtrians be comfortable if their PUBLIC property for givern to some Muslim/Christian trust...Absolutely no.
Even if we take religion out of it, government does NOT have the authority to allocate land and give out PUBLIC land to any one else, unless there is a legislation passed and proper bidding takes place.
We need to get out of this Raja-Praja mentality. Government is not the KING that goes on distributing land.
This applies to all state governemnt.
The totally disagree with Kashmiris resorting to violence. They could have easily won this in the courts.
