Are you halucinating? It seems that you really need some psychiatric help. Are you hearing about "athiests" for the first time? About 15% of world's population are atheists. Even in France about 25% of people are atheists.
Do you know that the US print 'In God We Trust' on their Dollar bills? And you know what all atrocities have been committed by the Country proclaiming "In God We Trust" ???

You can have your own notions. The atheists did not kill any one for rewards in a life here-after. And of course the US had killed more people than all of them put together. The Christian priests in US had even blessed the fight pilots who bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki knowing fully well on what mission they were.
Pl search for War Crime Tribunal to know more about the atrocities committed by participants in WW-II, mainly by the Japanese, predominently beleiving in Buddhist non-violence. The less we talk about other religions, the better.

I have no quarrels with the believers for I know for sure that it is like a "crutch" for them. However no religion is better than the other.
Pl visit the web of "ACtual Freedom - the third alternative" This an alternative to organized religions and do not have the rigidity of atheism. It will also enrich your knowledge about the reasons for some of the human behaviour.

Your type of persons are called "agnostics" who have a doubt whether god exists or not. As I have mentioned above, it is the indivdual's choice to beleive or not.
Believe in yourself. Believe in the principles of neo-humanism. Believe in the basic goodness of all humanbeings. You are not inferior to a person who lived hundreds of years back and there is no need in somethng written in a book thousands of years back. Use your own judgement.

Stone pieces have no souls. It is an insult for humans, most intelligent creatures in the world to bow down before stone pieces. But Jesus is God who won death. Even if you do not believe Jesus as God, at least He is a man as per your way of thinking. Are you going to accept me as a non-hindu? Hinduism is not a religion in its narrow sense. It is a conglomeration of various beliefs and even atheism. Atheists existed even in Vedic era and were called "Charvakas". And I am not talking about "hindu" ulture but the culture of our Country. Indian sub-continent had a civilized life when most of the other continents were still in the stone age. So don't confuse "culture" with "religion"!

I did not convert. My forefathers converted before 200 years mainly because - they were not allowed to enter hindu temples - their women were not allowed wear decent dresses (google and read 'mulakaram') - they have to maintain 12 feet distance with so-called uppercastes. - they were not allowed to get educated - they were not allowed to live in decent houses The above info. is not my imagination but is a history. If you want to know more read books on history of Travancore. Once converted to christianity, our forefathers and successors could live a decent life with self-respect and dignity because of efforts by missionaries. Still we are christians because - we have found that compared to other religions christianity is the best in the world. - we do not want to worship idols. - we do not want to believe in myths and superstitions. - we have nearly 100% literacy rate

Mr. Nanchil I am also like you, does not like what you have written in the list, even my anscestors could have converted. Don't I live with respect and dignity now that is because my anscestors fought it out. Today I do not have a dogma who says that you are living with self respect and dignity, I know how some of your own community think of you all, even the anglo Indian do not want you at par with them. Gentle man there are problems every where but running away is not good. I understand all those, definitely to ommorrow when the cristian come up with something identical restriction by virtue of you being not original then will you convert and may be your predecessor post like this, man try and fight the system and not chicken out. Do not tell me we do not want this and that, tell we wanted money so they converted. is that not the truth. So that is why you love this religion
