During Murder Night
by P on Jul 12, 2008 02:37 PM  Permalink

The No.1 and leading newspaper "Gujarat Samachar" has searched and boldly written on 10 July edition as :-
(1) Dr Talwar and his wife Nupur participated in a late night party of few couples during 12 midnight to 3 am at a hotel in Delhi, during murder night, for which they understand own self guilty and shameful, and always tried to shut entire case.
(2) Under effect of strong wine these three servants tried to rape on Aarushi, and then what happened, we all know.
(3) Signs of rape may have been deleted from postmortem report by influence with government doctors.
(4) Some money must have been paid to Noida police, to get the case finish quickly. But TV channels were more interested only because rape may be proved in future, so it may become a sensational story.

Arusha murder
by suresh kumar kotilthiruvakadu on Jul 11, 2008 04:21 PM  Permalink

What action will take against the Police and investigators for charging false complaint against the father. Same thing should happen to the investigators and then they will realise what is the feelings of sorrowing parents. Where is the media, NGOs etc. If the police/CBI, can not investigate properly, they should be sacked from top to bottom. What for they are paid, to humilate innocent people. ALL SHOULD JOIN AND PROTEST AGAINST THIS AND FILE CASE AGAINST THE INVESTIGATORS

Aarushi Murder case
by Estevam Dias on Jul 08, 2008 03:46 PM  Permalink

Since CBI is sure that Dr.Talwar and his wife were at home at the night of murder of Aarushi and Hemraj, why not they take up the case against the Media who gives false information to the public and the Court can come to their rescue so that infuture such incidents do not occur and make the public confused.
I think Govt.of India sould enact a law, so that Media and the journalists do not give wrong news for te public unless it is approved by the competent authority, specially when the investigation from the top level like CBI is in progress.
This is becoming a joke, just because we are a democratic country , does not mean we can do anything.Rules should govern and the Court should step in for the welfare of citizens of India which are bee misguided by the scrupulous agencies for their own propaganda and selfish motives.

Yes absolutely. The case has been solved. The whole story has come out. Despite of the repeated narco tests conducted on Krishna CBI can only say that Talwar was there in his house at the time of the murder.

Why Talwar is been let out of Narco tests??

Even after so many tests on krishna why CBI is still at the cross roads???

Masala Channels
by Amandeep Singh on Jul 08, 2008 12:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian media has poor journalistic standards as is evident from their coverage of this case. Most of the so called news channels are masala channels with 90% of Hindi news channels coming in this category.

Most of these channels have employed fresh recruits from UP and Bihar who come to Delhi to prepare for Civil Services but join journalism after failing to make the grade in Civil Services. Their mindsets are same as that of UP police and they can go to any extent by poking thier nose in personal life of others.

Do we really need such channels who seem to have decided that Dr. Talwar is the killer? It is unbelievable for any human to kill his only child and that too who was born after 5 years and a result of IVF treatment. Imagine what the parents have to go through while they go through such treatment and ask those who do not have kids. People who come from backgrounds where 5-6 kids in a family are normal cannot really relate to the emotions of a urban professional family having one kid.

Media has done more harm to the dead girl than UP Police. It is surprising to see the heads of Hindi News Channels shamelessly trying to justify their act of blaming Talwars who are altready going through the agony of losing their only child.

As a parent, I find it impossible to believe that a parent can be involved in murder of child. And even if it has happened in a fit of rage, the parent would have broken down in a day.

God save us from such irresponsible media.

Dear Amandeep,

I am agree with your feelings from the bottom of my heart. Till few months back (before Arushi's murder case) I was found of News channels. But now a days all these news channels are propagating False information's to us. I strongly recommend to ban this news channels. They have no rights to telecast false stories usually called " Natya Rupantars" of any incident. All there reporters are posing they are blood relatives of Sherlock Homes, they pose and speak with so much confidence that they are above from all these big investigating agencies working in this field since so long.
All these channels are fighting with each other to become No.1 news channel. These days, I think all these channels are affected with virus of showing" False Video" shoots at unknown location from different countries. Each and every News Channel now a days having Shoaib Illyasi alive in one or other form for serving simple accidents into big "masala " stories. What they are trying to convey ? God knows . They even playing with the sentiments of the common public by claming some accidents turned into "miracle" and it happened because of "Shri Sai Baba" and other Gods.
Again I am concluding by saying that we all should come together and fight against such news channels.

S Ashish

I am agree with u 100%, yesterday night on head lines today they were showing BIKINI HISTORY and oh god, all models in bikini.. how rubbis.. they are telling them self media and news channel and providing entertainment like fashion TV and adult TV.

what Govt. is doing all the time?? we are feeling shame in even watching news channel at home right now with family, day before yesterday they were showing young lover to kiss at narimaan point.. and this footage they were showing at least 10 times in one min... and 1000 time in a day.. now think with 7-8 year child in home.. what u feel by that footage???

sensor bord is announcing cuts in the movies... and channels are showing that cuts 1000 times on news and telling see this scene cut by sensor bord.. then what its meaning yaar??

they are never showing some good things done by NGO or some good people, they are jsut showing criminal, and their language oh god.. even they not know how to read.. for example..

YE HAI ARUSHI KA ROOM, ARUSHI ISI ROOM ME REHTI THI.. ARUSHI KA KATL ISI ROOM ME HUA THAT. ARUSHI US RAAT ISI ROOM ME SO RAHI THI.. ARUSHI KA ROOM BAN GAYA USKA KARBRASTAN... its irritating..

he can say like ye arushi ka kamra hai jaha us ka katla hua tha... but he just repeating above words ten times..

when govt will stop them?? even we can expect anything from govt... but we can expect from supreme court or not???

In that aspect Doordarshan (DD) IS THE BEST! They do not show any such news that isn't 100% accurate. A MATURE and responsible channel.

Though sometimes it is comical in a way that the DD news readers go on rambling about the goings on of the day - many times without any visual coverage. And sometimes also waiting endlessly and hopelessly for the visual to come up on screen. Then eventually with a whispered apology they move on to tell us of the next news item on their list.

But even then DD IS THE BEST.

Ir-responsible Media
by Indian on Jul 08, 2008 12:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its high time govt. should impose a regulation on the media on what they say. How can they publish false news without any concrete proof ???
They said, "Highly placed source of CBI" said that Talwars were not at home. And now CBI themselves is denying it.

Media should publish only authentic news. If they publish something wrong as above, then they should be punished.

I think in this case it is upon the CBI to get a non-bailable warrant issued against the directors of those news channels beause they used the CBI name falsely.

If the CBI is not doing any such thing, then there might have been a news leakage that these channels picked up.

The citizens of the country should join hands to take on the media that sensasanalized the case & NOIDA police that ruined the life of Talwar by their indiscreetion. The compensation for this should be in millions & it should be recovered by selling the assets of these guys to teach them a lesson for rest of their life.

I know this is no laughing matter. But i couldn't help guffaw at your choice of words of exasperation. Pradeep and Prasanna - each and everyone of us feel like strangling these blessed journalists/reporters who are making it a sensationalist issue! But what can we do?

Alas! Now for the prying media, the CBI will never let the Janata in on the killers and motive behind murders.

Misleading statement.
by sweeto t on Jul 08, 2008 12:29 PM  Permalink

"The Talwars were at home the night of the murders: CBI" is a misleading heading!!

CBI only says that the claims that they were not at home are speculative.....nowhere does the article say that the Talwars were definitely at home..

"This news item is speculative and not true. Investigation in the case is progressing diligently," a statement released by the CBI said."

The case is ON and more twists and turns can be expected!!
