Shiv senas base is the marathi manus or probably the lowest strata of marathi population, when bhaiyaas come to mumbai they pick up menial jobs of bhajiwala, panipuri walas, watchmens, liftmans etc, they work harder, long hours and work on less pays, with minimal fuss hence they have become the ideal employees and thus it has hurted the so called marathi manus, and hence all this nonsense, people should know how to compete in a global economy and now be cry babies
Blaming migrants for all the ills is probably the easy way out for politicians, load sheeding (because of bhaiyyas), water problem (because of gujratis), congestion in local trains (south indians & muslims), we are the highest tax payers in the country do we have a metro ??? delhi, kolkatta has, BMC is righest muncipal body in the world, then also Mumbai is called slumbai, Mumbai airport is probably worst when compared to other, investment on infrastructure is need of the hour, how much is done

Why don't the UP-Bihar people adopt family planning. Their population is exploding like anything. UP's size is less than AP, but it has 200 million people. Where do all these people live. Are there multi storeyed buildings in UP or do they live on trees.

Dude they don't ask you to feed their babies, let them work and feed them atleast they can expect that
Step 1 : Identify your target constituency ...Language and liguistic group can be a very easy group to target .
Step 2 : Create an atmosphere of fear in your target group ... show them that everyone who does'nt belong to that group is their enemy ...has taken over their resources ...is taking over their jobs ...is responsible for earhtquakes , responsible for Tsunami and Hurricanes and droughts and Storms ..
Step 3 : Brainwash your constitueny for over a period of time ( it may take years ) but keep going ...you will succeed .
Step 4 : Convince your constituency that you are their only Saviour and Leader .. ( the crowd will believe you because the ordinary man is Ordinary in its intellect ) ...
Step 5 : Now you can win elections comfortably and come to Power ....your ultimate goal ....make money lots of money . Yes , but don't forget ,keep reminding your constituency of the fact that they would be anihiliated if you are thrown out of Power ....keep reminding them what the "OUTSIDERS" can do if they are not in power . Now you are a Successful Politician ....and the "Common Man" ....well since he is ordinary he derives comfort from the fact that atleast someone is there to "protect him " from the "atrocities of the outsiders"... THe outsiders have been Ganda bhai's , (to remind the gujjus that their forefathers were also beaten up ) , then the lungis ( all southIndians because they had "taken over all the jobs of the "dharti putras or the Insiders " ) ,...
I have a brilliant suggestion, lets have lots of direct trains from major cities in UP-Bihar and Bengal to Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Ahemdabad. All the Laloos Prasads Greeb Raths and special long distance trains can be started. All can be direct trains with no in between stops. directly stopping at Chennai or Ahmedabad or Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Please take the load of 10,000 migrants a day from these places. Let your indigenous population in 5 years be overpowered and out numbered by lawless migrants.
Also lets have the word spread in local media and small and large newspapers in Hindi in UP and Bihar that Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahemdabad are the places the migrant waves from UP and Bihar should go to and are very promissing cities for them.
So that all of us will share the same happiness that Mumbai and Maharashtra is enjoying currently.
Lets all share the same joy and happiness that waves of uncooth and lawless migrants bring to a place.

Let us also start One Way Direct Train from Mumbai to Sawantwadi , Sindhudurgh , Raigad and other parts of Ratnagiri .....let us get rid of "vargani collectors" , " stone throwing frustrated , lazy and "reservation demanding " dhartiputras ...or the insiders ...Mumbai will soon become Shanghai ...but yes don't stop that way train from Mumbai to UP and Bihar ...
We would be glad to get rid of these Bhaiyyas and the insiders or the dhartiputras suffering from "faqt AC Office madhe 6 taas kaam karin " syndrome ...
In india molestations/dowry deaths are very common. If media is so concerned about women protection they can screen whole India starting from villages. The main problem with the journalists is they shoot it live and publish it in the main paper as sensational and succeeded to grab attention of electronic media.HOW MANY CRIME perpetrators AGAINST WOMEN IN OUR COUNTRY ARE PUNISHED AND DO YOU THINK IN FUTURE CRIME DOERS ARE AFRAID ... NO WAY.
Migrants from the failing rural economies especially in the North are ruining mumbai. Thackeray has hit the nail on the head. He is not commenting about the superiority/inferiority about one people against another. All he is saying is that migrants are causing a major headache for the city and for which the central government does not contribute anything at all. This policy of free migration only makes sense when most provinces are managed similarly. The entire N. India, especially UP and Bihar, is administered poorly and the successful southern states, especially maharashtra are paying for this. All those who are from Bangalore. Hyderabad, Chennai etc have not yet experienced anything of the likes yet. Wait till train loads of migrants come to these cities and see how these cities will cope up especially over 2 decades of unrelenting migration. If india wants to keep freedom of travel within the country, they must ensure all the provinces are administered fairly. In other words administration, law & order, financial institutions/markets should be independent like for judiciary and election commission.

I dont see the migration from UP or Bihar ending anytime soon, so Mumbai should learn to police effectively, this kind of complaining will not help.

A very balanced and sensible viewpoint. There is no bias here towards anyone coming to Mumbai for seeking livelihood. It is the virtual anarchy in the northern states that is driving people mad into Mumbai and when thousands move with an honourable intention, you can't filter the good ones alone, a few rotten ones slip through and this is the result!

but then a few rotten ones r everywhere even in ur state kannan. and remember sunil more a constable who raped a minor girl so does this means all maha people r rapists. apply some logic.
Mumbai seems to be special in India that there are people who try to behave like kings of city like Thaka-rey. Bad behaviour not found in other metropolis.
Those who are unhappy in Mumbai are welcome to migrate to Chennai with following conditions : 1) Biharies must not eat Chattu. 2) Punjabies must not make late night Bhangra 3) Gujraties must mix with local people 4) UP walas must not practice dirty politics 5) Bengalies must not do their Adda 6) Keralites must not talk about Gulf fortune 7) Kannadigan should come with their own water 8) Andhraits must not speak about Telugu pride 9) Goanese must wear dhoti, not half pants 10) Hariyanvis should speak softly 11) Himachalies must hide their skin colour 12) MP walas should live like local tribals 13) Assamies should not speak Hindi at all 14) Maharastrians must bow to Karunanidhi 15) All NE people shouldn't touch drugs 16) Andamanies must not do fishing business 17) Jharkhandies shouldn't behave like Dhoni 18) Rajasthanies must take regular bath 19) Uttaranchalies must not wear caps Above all, all migrants must declare that Idli-Bada is the best food in the world.

30% of Chennai is filled with Telugus now, and not long ago more than half filled with Telugus. We built the city from scratch but many of us were chucked out during state division. Moreover, Chennai is stone throw away from Andhra border. There are just too many Telugus in Tiruvallur district which Chennai is a part.
