I bet you - If you have read this book - you wouldnt be talking rubbish about the contribution of Islam in the development of modern scince.
Verghees has dedicated many chapters -just on Islamic impact alone

Here is the pdf on who is indeed the main motivation behind calculus

macalester.edu/~bressoud/pub/cbn1.pdf

This reasercher has singled out Abul Hazen as the influential figure in calclus

...Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn al-Haytham (also known by the Latinized form of his name:
Alhazen) was one of the great Arab mathematicians. He was born in Basra, Persia, now
in southeastern Iraq. Sometime after 996, he moved to Cairo, Egypt where he became
associated with the University of Al-Azhar, founded in 970. He was prolific, writing over
90 books, and is most famous for his work in astronomy and optics. His interest in
mathematics ranged over algebra, geometry, and number theory. I focus on him
because he is the first person I know of to have integrated a fourth-degree polynomial.

Who marginalised Muslims countries
by S P on Apr 02, 2008 03:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Muslims countries themselves responsible for marginalization. They are not so open minded, these countries don;t have religious freedom for non muslims. Muslim countries discriminates a lot to their own non-muslims citizens. These kind of ideology encourage fundamantlism. Poverty and terrorism are not very much linked, poverty and crime are linked. And religious terrorism a crime not comes from poverty. First these countries should have to understand that where they stand. Muslims countries and follwers need to be moderate and otherwise this polarization will increase.

Islam is the problem, it destroys every good thing. Creativity is the light of God, God is the ultimate creator but HE shares this talent of creativity with humans, look that these poor Arabs, they had the creative light of God, and Islam destroyed it as it is the prime purpose of Satan to destroy God's good work. Look at pakistan, it was destroyed by Islam while India continues to kindle in the light of God. Look at All Islamic countries, the light has been extinguished by Islam.

If science did not stop even in India that was occupied by many people, if India could produce Raman, Ramanujan, Chandrasekah, Bose (all noble prize winners) and Vishwanathan Anand(world no 1 in chess) why could Islamic world not produces anyone in the past 800 years?
