Karunanidhi's hidden agenda is creation of separate TamilNadu where he and his family becomes the royal family and all his opponents are finished off. Karunanidhi is the biggest rogue leader of India

MGR Fan, Every state in INDIA has or had its own internal problems starting from 1947..INDIAN politics is based on two open agendas.
1. Kashmir and 2. Ayodhya
And I doubt single politicians in INDIA is willing to reslove this issue now or in future! Its shame on us INDIANS that we openly vote for such politicians who are incapable of solving these core issues!

1. Kashmir is a non issue for 90% of people. You may make it an issue, but it does not concern others. Kashmir is an integral part of India and they can have anyone as their CM, even the Hurriyat folks and we dont care a damn
2. Ayodhya is a non issue. This is 2007.
The biggest threat is the trend of regional party leaders making entire state their personal property. TamilNadu's DMK is doing that in a way unimagined and the party leader is openly fanning separatism. He is a dangerous threat to tamil culture.

Musharraf is very smart. Under the disguise of increased militant attacks as the reason, he has imposed an emergency to take care of the judgement that was imminent and in probability would not have been in his favour. He has removed the chief justice and got one of his supporters as the new one. It is interesting to see the entire focus shifting towards judiciary system despite militant attacks being *cited* as the primary reason for emergency. I think Musharraf has failed here. He failed to divert the attention from judiciary systen. It is crystal clear that this is another example of autocracy.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!I am sure we have enough on our plate rather than bother what is happening across the border when our IMPOTENT PM, Manmohan Singh can issue routinised condemnation statements and do NOTHING ELSE. Pakistan anyway is a failed state. Right from impoverishment, literacy rate, economy, umemployment it is decades behind India. It has seen the imposition of Emergency, Martial law oft number of times, leaders have been slaughtered or hung to death. The Supreme Court there is a complete MOCKERY, the rule of law hardly functions. There is constant fued between Sunni and Shias and bomb blasts happening all across. The Pashtuns want a independant homeland. Yet, strangely all its people and political powers continue to waste BILLIONS of crores in pumping terrorists and trying to destabilise India. These Pakistanis are unified only in one thing that is to seek DESTABILIZATION of India by whatever means possible.

I cant understand how u can say that its just a news for us. Ya, its true that our media is over exposing but its new to us. Atleast this new is much bigger then india win in 20-20 or exclusion of dravid etc. Its really relevant to us. Because pak can take any step to difuse its inner pressure, (Including they can start war against India)Or it may be possible that Extremist took control of Power. Mr. Sharma, if any of eventualities which u have predicted happen, what can India do to prevent it or stop it from affecting India, except beaming it 24hrs on news channels? Do we have the power to stop anything that may happen in Pakistan or is our IMPOTENT government willing to take any hard decisions. So even if we know it or don't know it hardly matters since knowing all will not make any DIFFERENCE.

bache tu pakistan ko abhi nahi pehchanta...wahan to imergency salo se hi lagi hai. people cant express themselves over there. its just now that Musharaff had come out openly & is telling about emergency. So India should be more precausious in any condition that is related to PAKISTAN
As an Indian I feel the emergency is a must to root out the terrorists. President Mushraff if he is not acting is accused of supporting the terrorism. However, it is very very bad that he had made a mockary of the judiatiary.
If mush is doing it in the right spirit, then it is the most appropriate decision. His legs were being pulled in ten diff directions, now he can pull their legs.
