The demand for CBI enquiry in fake encounters in Gujarat seems to be valid. Even the Apex court saw the Prima facia case in this matter. There should be enquiry for all encounters allegedly on the name of Lashkar associate, ISI agents etc. Hundreds of innocent youth killed and thousands are rottening in our jails. By the way is there any facts and figures available about CBI hardwork. How many cases referred to CBI, How many investigated, how many person were arrested, how many prosecuted and above all , how many actually sentenced. hi all, can you realise that democratic set up and judicial process is for disciplined persons. these "jehadi terrorist" are using our system to destablise our country in the name of islaam.some are being used as human bombs, some are used to gather finacial support like recent repoerts are that these terrorist are investing money in indian stock market to generate funds.similarly some persons are used to defend these hard core terrorist in the courts by the members of legal field who believe in "Jehadi" ideology. there are other social activist like tista sitalwad who uses indian democracy to protest and defend these terrorist. there are politicians like mulayam singh who defend even simmi like organisations. in the situation like this if we can not execute the capital punishment of afzal even found guilty by the court how can you imagine that how this country be saved by "jehadi terrorist" ideology's persons and groups. you people can not understand that so much greater than the gujrat the heineous crimes are there in other state ruled by other parties, no media is repoting like live telecast as it is being done in the case of gujrat and modi.understand that this is the game plan of congress and its supported media like NDTV.

my dear friend, my simple question is how will you tackle "jehadi ideology" and the "jehadi armed terrorist activities" these terrorist are killing others in the name of islam, one afzal found guilty through judicial system, and we are unable to hang him, how will you save your country?

Firstly its Gujarat and not Gujarat....Insipte of the blows...the Gujarat Govt is still fighting and standing tall. Gujarat ko mita sake woh tumhari gnad mein dum nahi.
It is a good thing to give the option to comment by all the readers. But I feel that there is a need to filter/edit before these comments are posted on the website, not afterwards. Sometimes the readers are getting highly emotional and attacking other readers personally which will never do any good. The whole purpose of sharing mature and sensible thoughts is getting lost in this war of the words. I also feel the image of the website is getting damaged because of this.
Having participated in many blogs worldwide, I find Indians are more versatile in their posts. It covers huge area from history, culture, politics, sociology- you name it,
Lets ignore the fact that the dead man was muslim (since that seems to be the hot-button issue here). Let's say he was, let's pick a name, Rajendra Nikhalje. An extortionist, drug dealer, whatever. Is it OK if the police shoot him in a fake encounter, without trying to arrest him or take him to court? Are you suggesting that it is OK for the police to kill people it decides are guilty of extortion? What if you are falsely implicated of a murder you didnt commit? Is that still OK?
Trying to find out what people really think. Cuz IMHO, the real issue is an extra judicial killing - the police cannot dispense justice instantly (it isnt Judge "I am the law" Dredd). Me thought that was the job of the courts.
(Courts are slow is not an excuse BTW. The solution is to make the courts fast, not transfer court powers to the police).

Yes it is okay to kill evil with evil. Be it Rajendra Nikhalje. India mein democracy bohot sasti mai. People uska fayda uthate hai. Law is cheap. Ek law banne se pehele usko todne ke 10 tarike ban jate hai. Imandar aadmi frustrate ho kar, encounter na kare toh kya karega. If you intension is good you are welcome...if not I will be worse than you. This is the attitude that is required today. Ahimsa ke din gaye...Ab ek badi ladai...phir sab khatam. Even the f***i** human rights comission.
