Hats off to Dr. Kalam for his involvement in gloryfying the role of Indian president for future generations not only in India , but in the world.
If we have more Kalams in our system , our country will be on the top f the world.That was his intention and we should try to become like him , process starts from self, our children and our home. That would be the best salute t Missile Man .
India should declare "National Mourning" for 1 Month after Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam , President of India relinquished his office. Because once Dr.Kalam leaves the highest office in India Same office will be occupied by "CURRUPT AND GREEDY" Politian , backed by Italian Mafia People. There will be 'ANARCHY' in India. It will be worst then violence after Independance of India And Killings of all Gandhis from India.

We all Indians should mourn for it .The wish of majority has been crushed just for the illogical egoism of a lady . it is shameful for such politicians and if at all Pratibha Patil has even the slightest morale and self respect then she shld quit the highest post even after the victory .This might save her from the curse from many Indians and this will also repair her image .

i hope this message will reach dr.kalam. he shd not accept any post after he relinquishes the president of india post. he shd simply work for his home dist of ramanathapuram as it has vast tourist potential. with a people friendly chief minister of tamil nadu, dr.kalam will be able to put ramanathapuram dist as an attractive tourist dist. all tourists look forward to basic amenities like good and cheap lodging, good motorable roads,good toilet facilities on road sides, schools and colleges for middle class and poor, good and dependable hospitals. and the list is endless.dr kalam will be remembered and emulated for these services and not so much when he occupies some university post in an honorary and respectable position.he can sow his ideas of science and space wherever he is available provided there are takers.in india reired people have no voice.

I do not understand Why India is called as a democratic country. An ordinary citizen like us do not have any authority to choose who should be the President of India. This is democracy. If we have the right to vote for electing a President a hard core criminal like Pratibha will never sit in Rashtrapati Bhawan. I dont think even God can save India.

It is the will to be active. Some people even during active tenure like to take things easy. Dr.Kalam is the first President from minority community to complete his term successfully. Dr.Zakir Hussain and Mr.Fakruddin Ali could not complete their terms and died while in office. Dr.Kalam has revolutionised the Pesidency and made the people to know that there is a post of President of India and he can make some noise. Actually the entire nation should be allowed to select who the President should be and some powers should be reserved for him. No doubt the Constituion of India describes the Powers of the President but none of these can be exercised by him independently without peril to his Chair. The elected representatives who form the electoral college to elect the President do not reflect the true will of the people since they get elected on account of some more votes than other candidates in the fray. How does it reflect the majority of the electorate of Inida? Even in a Company where some resolutions are required three fourths majority of the Mmebrs of the Company is required. When that is the condition for a small business organisation how it can be ensured that the Electoral college consisits of three fourths of the electorate of the nation? Therefore, it is all the more eseential to make the President to be lected directly by the people. He should be conferred with the power of picking up the PM and other cabinet memebrs. How do u think if entire india votes, then good people could have reached President's office. It is the people who can spend or have back-up to create the money made propaaganda (or advertising themselves) in their favor to influence emotional public could have only got elected. I do not think academic like Kalam could have ever done & elected, if we public had the rights to vote for president.

I wish only he could be there for another 5 years. The nasty politics of the present times did not give to the 100 crore of Indian they deserve so genuinely.
In my opinion it is not good to work in Anna University as Special Professor. At present political scenerio Anna university run with dirty politics. It is best to creat One New University in the name of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Rural University with autonomous status in Tiruneveli Kanyakumari Dstrict to help poor students for create India as Super Power to safeguard Farmers and Small Retail Traders. But one thing is sure The Almighty/God Grace is there for Dr.A.P.J.Abdul kalam. Because in astrological angle during August to Dec 2007 Delhi position is very very very critical
