You did not speak much up to last week but after the bail announcement you are talking more with careful wordings. Beegum, may be you forgot that you are living in India and your husband is in Australia, they are not fools like Indian government, I can clearly tell you that he won't come back at least next 10 to 15 years. Better marry someone else. Law and order is best in Australia, UK and most European countries, you can't bribe like India....

You are right. As a person who studied in Australia I can very well say that Australians are very professional in their approach and will not resort to sentiments like the Indians. There is no use if Indian Government try to intervene in this.

Granted ! He may have thought of buying the return ticket in India.
Why was he insisting on leaving Australia at-once when the authorities wanted to reelase him but asked him to agree that he will be available whenever they need to question about something ?? Isn't this is the reason he was held though they did not charge him.

Manmohan will give him a red carpet welcome.......and Afzal Guru will be standing next to him............welcomming the fellow jihadi.......I am sure there will be tears in Manmohans eyes......
It will be too early to say that, Dr Haneef is gonna deported to India in very near date or some, because, the Australian Authorities mentioned it very clear that-QUOTE-"The Australian government has said that Indian doctor Mohammed Haneef, charged with supporting a terrorist organisation, will be deported from the country after legal proceedings are over and if there is no new development in the case".-UNQUOTE.(Report came on Jul 17 2007, 10:57 IST, in this Forum with the Heading "Haneef will be deported, says Australia" and reporterted by Natasha Chaku in Melbourne)
So we never know, if there is any other turn or twist in this Act of Terrorrism there, and that can be clear only after the conclusion of all the legal process. And The Federal Police of Australia and Briton, hu presently dealing with the case, will check into all corners of the issue very tharoughly, and still, if they feel this Dr Haneef is having a clean hand in all means, then only they gonna deport him, it can be happening in days, months or it can take years too. As no suspects of terrorrism will never let free that easy, and that is the right way to tackle/deal with the Terrorist/Terrorism, notwithstanding the Nationality/religeon/culture he/she blongs.
Time will tell whether Haneef is innocent. But, this incident should be an wakeup call for everyone. Be careful, very careful with your identity and what you share with others. If all Haneef did was to innocently lend his Sim card, and I hope that's all he did, then imagine the torture he and his family is going through.
Be careful, especially if you are in a foreign country. You may not have too many friends left once your character is questioned. I see people already giving their judgement here.

Already Bangalore sorry Bengaluru North, is reserved for him. Dont worry. Jaffer Sheriff has already confirmed his support followed by Rosan Baig and Ibrahim. Election funding will be honoured by Telgi and people shamelessly like flock of sheep will vote for him. This is democracy sorry democrazy.

For everything they refer to their religious scripts and the government fall flat at their feet shamlessly. The other day, what happened in Bengaluru in Shivajinagar Area is widely published in all media and the land in question legally belonged to a hospital which was illegally occupied and claimed to be gifted to them by Hyder Ali. They are bent upon only in construction of mosques and most of them indulge in all illegal activities mention what, they are there. Their mind is polluted with negative thinking. The mind set has to change. It may or may not. Only time will say.

I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU KAPIL. A PERSON WHO DEALS WITH A TERRORIST (BY WAY OF PROVIDING SIM CARD OR MONEY) IS A TERRORIST. HE DESERVES THE SAME PUNISHMENT AS HIS COUSIN - I MEAN DEATH PENALTY !!

Give petition to Australian govt that India doesnt need such national back. Send his wife and his kid also to Australia so that they could also meet him behind bars.
I definitely know the feelings of a woman and that too a wife whose husband is far of the country whose act are either known to the family and supressed or not divulged by Haneef.
I am sorry to note, her intention is good but the act of her husband is very serious and that too being a doctor. How could his conscious permit him to abet this grave act knowing fully the consequences. He is not a child to be let off after reprimending. If he is really innocent Australian law will definitely apologise for his detention, which was not intentional but for international security reason. So let the wife of Hannef not purchase international sympathy.
