Time will tell whether Haneef is innocent. But, this incident should be an wakeup call for everyone. Be careful, very careful with your identity and what you share with others. If all Haneef did was to innocently lend his Sim card, and I hope that's all he did, then imagine the torture he and his family is going through.
Be careful, especially if you are in a foreign country. You may not have too many friends left once your character is questioned. I see people already giving their judgement here.
