No wonder you are from Hyderabad..where every ground floor house on the street is converted to a shop. Why dont you buy salt and match box once a month and keep stock. Hyderabad culture is like that you run down to buy shampoo packet, salt and match box etc. Hydaerabadis have to learn urban management.

No wonder Indian cities are a mess. Just go to some well maintained and planned cities like Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai etc. and you will no what is urban management. Short sighted people like you want to run down to buy even match stick, salt, sugar, milk ..God knows how many times you will run down. No wonder you have Andhra culture. Thats why India is still in Stone age when compared to city and urban management. Educated people for whom education is useless - Indians'
So the middle case is screwed up, but ppl can buy cheap stuff on the ROADS, thats ok. U can occupy place on the roads, block the traffic, block entrances, no pay TAX, not pay rent, on top of that u can sell stuff that might not be good for health, this all is ok, BUT U CANNOT OPERATE A SHOP IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
When all that is wrong originates from New Delhi, then what can you expect from rest of the country. The politicians are shamelessly setting a bad example.Today, even if you call a politician a" bloody CHOR 'on his face,he does not wince a bit. They have beaten all the thick skinned animals in thickness.
I having been born in Delhi have seen the city deteriorate day by day since 1990's. It was mainly due to migration and commercialization of the city. You saw shops popping up everywhere, the goverment agencies like MCD, the DDA, the Delhi Police, the local MLA everyone was involved since it had big money. Now people whose shops have been sealed are crying hoarse that they will loose there livelihood, let me ask them were they not aware that what they were or are doing is illegal. If they did (since most of these structures came up after paying bribes) and still went ahead, there is no need to play innocent. Whatever relief the goverment has provided is against the law, it will set a precedent that "those who break the law, shout a lot and resort to violence can get away with it, it is the law abiding cititzen who has to pay the penalty".My family had to leave our ancestral home in Old Delhi because the numerous factories that sprang up in the vicinity. The Supreme Court is our last resort, if it also buckles then Delhi is as good as dead. This city would not be resettled for the 10th time...
We all have come to circumvent laws knowing that the legal procedure will take forever to catch up and lets honestly admit that we have taken advantage of this fact. Now the sealing issue those using their residential premises for commercial purpose knew all along what they are doing is not legally correct and perhaps bribed officials for delaying prosecution. Now that the Govt.has clamped down they must pay the price. How else can wrongs be set right ? Certainly the Govt. has a lot to answer and their systems are questionable but we citizens must also learn to live within the legal frame work and always be on the right side of the law. You can get away sometimes but never every time. The court should allow residents to file afidavits and give back their property and not seal them.
The sealing issue has been blown out of proportion by the so called APEX court i.e-supreme court. on one hand it has high regards for a murderer like NAVJOT SINGH SIDHU n putting a stay on his conviction....now where is the law that everyone who is a culprit should be punished.?? but the sealing issue is such that a person who may have done a mistake in the past will now suffer coz of the mistakes and corruption in government...now where is the humanitarian ground missing by the supreme court....can any one tell me in what kind of DEMOCRACY we are living???? HOW FAR ALL THIS IS JUSTIFIED???????

Mr Arpit, Why are you crying foul over this issue? Didnt the traders know right from the beginning that what ever they were doing was wrong? And some day they had to pay for it. Now, if there are 50000 people doing wrong and illegal thing doesnt make it right - No, my dear friend that is not the DEMOCRACY. And please dont link Siddhu or any other example with this. This is very bad habit of people - to justify their own wrongs, they will point and compare with some other irrelevant things.
I always dream a better India where we can be proud to say we are Indians. And I am sure that day will come.

I completely agree with you Nisha.... wrong is wrong.... numbers of people involved in it...doesnt make any difference.... These traders who are crying foul are the same lot who used to bribe the govt.machinery and themselves are responsible for their state today..... Come' on let's support SC for this noble cause.....

I strongly condemn your calling SIDHU as murderer. When SC has stayed his conviction it definitely finds some merits. I have high regards to SC and all its judges.

Mr.Arpit, your thoughts reflect that ur one among the affected traders who bribed officials/babus and earned money. The apex court has done not for any selfish reason but for Delhities sake.
You dont have any rights to comment upon its other activities like the sidhu incident as it is governed and run by laws. The law will take its own time, that s why u guys enjoyed all these years.

definitely ur rite im also the one whos affected but never bribed ne official as im only 18 rite now.... can u tell me what is supreme court doing in mumbai and all other metro cities to clean up the mess and the corruption...y targeted DELHI first...supreme court is equal for all it should have started this in whole of India..n even u know that almost 90% people are unaware of their rites and duties so first make them aware n then think of destroying their lives...rather i feel it is our system which needs to be changed rather than the people or their lives....dont u think???
I appreciate if we, Indians to give support to our apex court to execute law and regulations for the groth of our nation or growth of all of us. So many Indian's are working in other countries and sharing their valuable know-how for income. We have to stop this, we have to pick up hands of our poor people.... Happy Republic Day.....!!!!!!
