This is just irresponsible journalism. If you think you are rear-gaurds of justice passing judgements on situations that are way beyond your journalistic faculties you are seriously mistaken. Hyderabad has a history which is more good than bad and we as a whole will overcome this hurdle as well. This ain't Gujarath. There are people who are willing to take a look at the situation from all perspectives and resolve this thing. We have been there and done that. You are in no position to pass judgements having grown up way away from actuality and reality. This tinge of hidutva in your articles may look good in a right wing journal but not on a news piece on a website you call a news website. Definitely Muslims have shed their blood too. Who knows it could be your friends in bajrang dal who want to capitalize on the situation to gain foothold. But ultimately people(read friends of those who have overseen Gujrath Genocide) will be happy to actually label this as a communal act and prepare for another Genocide in the name of Counter Terrorism. That time is not too far away and people of Hyderabad do not be indifferent and let you be fed with the Hindutva ideology. Then there would be no difference between you and a terrorist. On the whole there are always people who try to capitalize on a situation and pump idiocy among the demography. But again this is not Gujarath to be fed with Hindutva. People are literate and are capable of independent decision. Trust the individual conscience.

Check the literacy rate of Andhra Pradesh in table below. Dont make hollow, baseless and stupid claims. Gujarat is far better. http://www.censusindia.net/results/provindia3.html
This Aritcle is the most stupid article I ever read. First of all, It lacks what It wants to tell. Second, Bringing in hindu-Muslim divide in hyderabad is not appropraite now. It should be noted that first blast 3 months ago was in a mosque and so it is not targeted to hindus. Similarily recent blasts are not targeted towards any particular section. It is towards the humanity. An obviously insane out-come of terror. am born and brought up in old city 3KM from charminar. I spent all my days in a community filled with as many hindus as muslims.I can with all my memories and experience can tell that, Muslims from hyderabad are really polite. Their might be suitaions such as kara-seva incidents in 1992, which must be understood that those incidents occured in a completely different mood of the nation.
Am a 100% Hindu, BUT I request please do not blame muslims fro such things.

Yes, the blasts 3 months ago were in a mosque. But, check how many ppl have died. They deliberately put low intensity explosives, and didn't trigger all the explosives -- Their aim was to create a communal tension and get the Hindus in the old city killed. They almost succeeded. The immediate reaction of those namaz doing ppl was to go and burn down shops belonging to hindus, trynig to put a petrol bunk on fire -- if the police hadn't acted promptly and decisively a lot more Hindu lives would've been lost. (Ofcourse those police officers were transferred or suspended for doing their duty.. what else can you expect from a "secular" government? You talk about 1992. In the early 80s, the only major news about Hyderabad that I can remember is the communal riots, till TDP came to power in 1984. Again in 1989 when the "secular" government came to power, they started again. Forget the riots in 1989-90? If you are brought up in the Old city, either your name is incorrect, or you are lucky to be alive!
Rediff is equally raising sentiments of Hindus and Musilms, and demolishing the brotherhood among Indians. More specific the educated, computer literate people participate in these bloody debates, curse and abuse their fellow country man and their religion. Some people are mobilizing the situation by putting their Talibanis mindset and prove themself that they are better hindus and muslims. This site should be banned imidiately, its just spreading hatred and humour among people or either they ahve to stop these discussion board, such kind of freedom is useless which cannot contribute in the progress of country.

Rediff has perfectly highlighted the issue. It is 100 percent inefficiency of rulers not muslims or hindus.Media unfortunately is largely controlled by politics.Andhra CM is more interested in vote bank politics.Remember what he said after the blasts-it just happens everywhere we should sometimes just accept it.Wow-it is just amazing.Either we blame islam or pakistan but one thing we never accept is the inefficiency of politicians police and intelligence agencies.Yes there is terrorism in Pakistan but that country itself is paying and is going to suffer but we need to see more important issue of corruption and inefficiency in our backyard.

True Indian Hi brother agree with u.Let me add Home minister Shivraj Patel's words after Mumbai blasts and more recent Hyderabads blasts-"India is a big country and we do know when and where terrorists will strike.Sometimes we cannot do anything"Its unprecedented response from any politician I have ever known. That too from a central Minister. What message are we giving to terrorists.?To do more such as we are hopelessly confused and inefficient???
They are not the works of BJP or MIM. These are good parties and would not kill there own people. They are either Bangla and Pak elements mixing with the local poopulation and side tracking some youth to create tension.Since they cannot progress in their own country they create problems in Kashmir, Afghanistan and sell nuke technology to Iran, libya, korea...they don't have ethics. No religion teaches killing of another human...these politician from other countries create these problem...see what is happening in PAK things have gone out of control...they are reponsible for their own genie..it is another Iraq at our door steps.
We should catch these elements who were involved in the blasts and put on trial. If they are not caught they will carry out these again...they are living and hiding some where in thee outskirts...Bibinagar and Nalgonda...any person who has seen suspicious activity or rucksacks etc being carried by group of 2-4 peoplee should report to police. Some calls will be hoax and some of them is genuine....we cannot expect all calls to be accurate.. but there is no alternative...call might be in hundreds...but another tragedy can be prevented

"catch these elements who were involved in the blasts and put on trial" -- it would take 15 more years for a verdict, and after that no punishment will be given, bcos some "secular" government will be in power, and give a presidential pardon (If India doesn't become an Islamic nation by then)
Hyderabad is supposed to be the most beautiful ,clean and safe place to live in i wish every one to maintain it , the only way we can drive the evele out is by unity , lets all wish for peace

Ha ha.. When in a need to dream of India under Islamic rule in 21 century, just remember pakistan, afganistan, UAE, bangladesh....
Before partition, same blood resided in ancient-india as muslims. If Majority they, indian muslims will do the same thing, those ancient-indian muslims of pak/bangla/afgan are doing to non-muslims.
There is no chance, it would be different.. So dont day dream that serving mussalmans will save ur mother, wife and sister. Their fate is mostly doomed as mine, in a near future. No me saying, the situations in pak/bangla/afgan and current situations in India is saying.
"We can't do anything against the international terrorist network"
A government which can't protect its citizens doesn't deserve to rule the state for a moment. Let they make way for some one who can assure us our safety. As per the statistics, India has the second highest number of terror victims during 2004-07, next only to Iraq. The hot spots of voilence - Afghanistan, Pakistan are way behind. This clearly shows how lax the governments here are. Human loss doesn't seem to move them. Gujarat which is on the hit list of terrorists seems to be much safer than Hyderabad. Europe and US which are the real targets of terrorism are protecting their citizens what stops our government to atleast make an attempt. The sounds of despair from our ministers make the citizens sitting ducks. With this government around the citizens of hyderabad are living in constant fear as terrorists can strike with impunity anytime, anywhere.
The minister who made the above statement didn't have an iota of guilt in visiting and consoling the family of a known terrorist. With ministers like him in the cabinet coupled with his statements, Pakistan and ISI don't need any more friends for their well being in Hyderabad.
If anyone has opened The Indian Express (Hyderabad Issue) dated 28th Aug 2007, you can see at the front page, the photograph of our CM YSR Reddy laughing along with one of his cabinet members on a silly joke. Where? At the peace conference held at Ravindra Bharti as a condolence for the victims of the bomb blast. Hope this proves everything.

Chandrababu Naidu's son marriage dance event was held the day before the blasts. Dont blame people without knowing the facts
The news papers are not going to report anything. If some Hindus are involved in a reaction to the murder of course, these columns will be filled with articles how bad Hindus are. If Muslims do, it is small number of non-islamic fellows who need a pat on the back.
