We can't do anything
by Srini on Aug 28, 2007 06:32 PM

"We can't do anything against the international terrorist network"

A government which can't protect its citizens doesn't deserve to rule the state for a moment. Let they make way for some one who can assure us our safety. As per the statistics, India has the second highest number of terror victims during 2004-07, next only to Iraq. The hot spots of voilence - Afghanistan, Pakistan are way behind. This clearly shows how lax the governments here are. Human loss doesn't seem to move them. Gujarat which is on the hit list of terrorists seems to be much safer than Hyderabad. Europe and US which are the real targets of terrorism are protecting their citizens what stops our government to atleast make an attempt. The sounds of despair from our ministers make the citizens sitting ducks. With this government around the citizens of hyderabad are living in constant fear as terrorists can strike with impunity anytime, anywhere.

The minister who made the above statement didn't have an iota of guilt in visiting and consoling the family of a known terrorist. With ministers like him in the cabinet coupled with his statements, Pakistan and ISI don't need any more friends for their well being in Hyderabad.
