Not only it has gone too far the RSS is taking undue advantage for political gain. The division of caste and minority appeasement has great value for the RSS for its uppercaste vote bank and it is very understood fact as of now.
The cheap tactics adopted by the sangh is indeed a shape is putting the Indian constitution to shame. There is no denying the fact that the RSS and its affilates are inciting and intimidating violence against muslims and daliths.The success of RSS strategy in splitting the country along religious lines is very visible lately with the rise in ghettoization in different cities across the country. The work of RSS shakhas has been outsourced to a large section of media, and different state run schemes, more so after the BJP was in power in the center for six long years and also in the states ruled by BJP governments, which essentially are the conduits for RSS shakha program and propaganda. It is more than clear that BJP wants to spread hate to consolidate its vote bank, without inviting censure of the due process of law. There is nothing surprising about that. BJP knows that it cannot come to power without the politics of hate against weaker sections of society, the religious minorities. Its ?glorious? run to power has always been preceded by such hate propaganda. It is very clear that only by pursuing identity politics and by opposing affirmative action for dalit, OBC and Muslims it can retain the support base required for winning elections. Once the elections are won than to use the existing mechanisms to further drive a wedge between people of different religious communities, to break the concept of Fraternity (Community) One is witnessing the wily ?genius? of communal politics in full operation. After the Gujarat carnage there is a definite change in its strategy. It is now resorting to low intensity, sustained, violence in different places. The advantage of this is that it does not invite serious reprimand from the official legal mechanisms and social-world opinion at large. Last two years we have seen the violence being orchestrated in Mau, Indore and many other places and to keep the issues like Baba Budan Giri on the boil.
One also has to remember that Hitler also came to power by using democratic means, by taking the oath to preserve democratic constitution in Germany. Once having come to power how he abolished democracy and brought in fascism is a history written with the blood of over a million Germans. Will we learn from history, as to how to nurture and protect the values of freedom struggle, the values of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, (Community)? By constructing and demonizing the ?other?, this political stream is breaking the concept of fraternity. One hopes we have mechanisms to ensure that those parties wedded to extra electoral non democratic outfits are not permitted to be part of electoral system.

Ur right. Problem is, Indians have grown up, they are clear about what they want - progress, work, education, quality and dignified life. But our netas have never worked, have no dignity, no education. They are taking the country on y axis down, when people want to go the opposite. They use all sort of dirty tricks to achieve their stupid goals. One party deliberately does one wrong, and other party does the opposite wrong to justify it. They call it democracy here.
BHANDARA: Caste hatred can lead to the strangest of obscurantist behaviour, as a group of upper-caste teachers in a rural school demonstrated recently.
After a Dalit headmistress of the Zilla Parishad Higher Middle School at Surewada village was transferred, the successor, an upper-caste teacher, ordered the premises %u2014 and even students %u2014 to be 'purified' by spraying cow urine.
The school, located 9 km from Bhandara town in Maharashtra, has 210 students in classes I -VII, 20 of them Dalits.
It was headed until now by Tilottama Tembhurkar, who was hated by her upper caste colleagues for having made it to the top.
They reportedly openly discussed how her presence was 'inauspicious' for a school where bulk of the students were from upper castes.
So when Tembhurkar left and the charge was handed over to Sharad Kaitade, who boasted of caste pedigree, earlier this month, the first act of the new headmaster was one of 'purification'.
Kaitade allegedly performed a puja in the school and asked a lady teacher, Madhavi Raut, to sprinkle 'gau mutra' in the classes and school premises.
Raut took her orders seriously and promptly went around classrooms armed with cow urine %u2014 even sprinkling it on students who were taking their annual exams.
She entered a class where Dalit students were also solving question papers and asked them to get up and get the 'go mutra' shower, saying it would 'purify' them.
The administration ordered a probe and police interrogated the headmaster.

such behaviour is inacceptable. the school and govt.authorities should fire all those teachers and put in people who teach unity, not division. these higher caste teachers have shown themselves to be more ignorant than their pupils.They are defeating the very objective of education. The parents too should protest.

the teachers who did such activities are not fit to be called teachers. they need to be tought that so called lower caste people are equal to and in no way inferiour to the so called the upper caste. it is very unfortunate that such incident occurred.
When the govt gives reservation to the SC's and ST, they are all in line to receive it. They are all ready to accept that they are lower caste. Why then is there a legal problem when we call some one as SC or ST. When they receive reservation, they should be ready to be called as SC or ST's. What a twist in our constitution

When they accept reservation it does not mean that they have to accept 'lower castes'. Reservation is given to some groups of the indian society as a compensation to their suppression over thousands of yrs. BTW, what's CASTE???
I strongly believe many peole in India do not really know what's Caste. I mean caste definition.
In my openion, primitive tribes(very very less evolved/less educated people) in India thousnads of yrs back, created a societal system for division of labour. I guess some people voluntarily or thru force or thru lottery agreed to do some lower works( In fact there is nothing like lower work/higher work, work is worship).
Caste is different class is different. Caste system created rich people(if u see just 70/80 yrs back rich means lands/bullock carts, nothing else). How some people in India had got more land?. Caste created poor people. So Oppression was carried out by caste. Weakness was created by caste. 10% people benefitted by caste.
In my openion, so long as caste is practised in India(especially rural India, caste beast is very strong), reservation should continue, unless those who take it voluntarily say that, they do no need any more, Govt sould provide it. Who knows, in future those who take reservation may become very strong and proudly called as sc/st/bc?
who knows, those upper caste people may need reservation in future??

What u r saying does no make much sense. Brahmins did some research in thousands of yrs back to see how things work. They really did it. If some other group of people were asked to do it, they would have got the same results. Brahmins are not special. They figured some facts. They figured how the nature works at surface level. They studied, how human brain/mind works and started exploited things/people. This exploitation started thousands of yrs back. Current brahmins may not know all that their ancesstors did it.
None is fool in the world, if one is fool everyone is fool. If one is genius everyone is genius, Çoz all humans for that matter all things in the universe has the same intelligence. Same intellegence which runs in the trees also runs in us. If its so why some people look intelligent some are not? it depends how u use ur brain. How u r trained. Its all in the mind/brain. The problem in India is lack of dissipline. another and the main problem is " habits die hard". Caste is a habit and very dificult to get rid of it. It grew in thousand of yrs. It'll take same amount of time to die. Some much change has already arrived in India. It's a matter of time. If govt of India can provide equal education/health care to all people of India, then u can not call anyone fool. Then u can not call anyone week by mentality. Muslims r not fools they are mostly illiterate. For eg. 64% of muslims in ofganista are completely uneducated.
I tell u how all humans r equal. Of late scientists figured, million yrs of ago, humans and chimps are scattered from their common ancestors. genetically, 98% genes are common between humans and chimps. The diff is just 2%. If its so how much diff it'll be between/among human beings?
Brahmins are the cruelist people in the world who exploited things in India like anything. Even jews in the the middle east did not do it. Caste was very much injected into people like hell. So people will not easily change. Lot of people In india, without reliasing the truth,admire brahmins. primitive Brahmins are so smart, since they know how brain/belief works, they created so many rituals, for their living. Primitive brahmins wanted to control everything including kings, so they wanted to become majority. to become majority, they devided Indians into about 6500 groups(casted) so 2% brahmins become majority. See their smartness. Nobody in the world exploited their own people like brahmins did to their own people in India. Even today they tach Yoga/meditation to westerers(its a $50000/Annum business in US). They do not want to teach it to India. These people went to US in 1960's to teach yoga to americans and make hugemoney.
'Brahmin' is caste name not a race name. There is no scientific evidence as to if race is really exist. They've to prove scientifically if race is really a fact. Lot of like minded people became brahmins over the period of time to get more benefits in the society.
Some brahmins look black. Most brahmins look brown. We do not really see any logic in the CASTE. Caste is totally an unscientific methodology.

Kavita, you seem ot have a very precise idea of every group in India. From your mode of writing you appear very immature and of no knowledge of people. Pity your statement shows how narrow-minded and ignorant you are. You cannot generalise like this. Sweeping statements only reveal weakness of the person making them.
congress,SP,BSP jaisi parties ka is desh per raaj raha toh jaldi hum sab national anthem ki jagah kalme par rahe honge. India will become Islamic Republic of India. Non-Muslims will again have to pay jaziya to stay alive in this country.

Congress is the worst for muslims dear, How much congress used them, no body else did//go and see. what muslims got (extra)in last 60 year, congress is the one systamaically removed muslims from govt jobs than for psu's anybody can check the % muslims in this sector i.e. 1950 ,/ 1960 /1970 /1980/ 1990 / 2000..i am sure u will steep decline in this..to say and to do is big diff..they pampered few self called maulvis and illitrate muslim followed them the way they do now also, sometimes behind sp. sometime bsp sometime bjp/ and sometime congress all used them like tissue papers..

advaniji,I am ahamed to say that I am also from UP. All the dirt there was too much for me to bear so have moved abroad.. I do come to indian once in couple of years but never and i mine never would go to UP again
