but then India doesn't need smart politicians these days, right? One needs to be either from a political family or from a mafia family. I guess the days of intelligent, well-read, and shrewed polical figures who can articulate Indian thoughts well are over.
i am sure that each one here who are discussing the thing has the same and greater ability and capabity than that Rahul Gandhi (Khan).. only one thing all of us lack.. i.e. the family he belongs to.. so in the name of his family we can give him the privilege to inaugurate a hospital or a school.. not more than that.. he is a total non-sense and selfish fellow .. but the problem is poor, uneducated people of india cannt realise the fact and they all go behind the glamour.. there is nothing to talk about him.. he is telling some non-sense.. as thats only expected from him.. if anyone expects something sensitive from him.. its his fault who expects that.. but the question is even after realising the fact.. what can we do? actually we cant do anything.. just to wait for our fellow indian brothers to wake up as soon as possible before its too late.. (already its late.. but its better to be late than never) once people will grow up and wake up... thousands of Rahul and ten thousands of Gandhis cant do anything to keep their power.. its been said that.. THERE MUST BE SOMETHING IN CONGRESS THAT STILL THEY HAVE THE POWER.. THE FACT IS THEY DO EVERYTHING JUST TO KEEP THE POWER...SINCE THE BEGINING ...
It is quite heartening that Rahul has guts to speak out the truth when many elderly politicians whisper among themselves by what means the Bangladesh has been created. I wish he further speaks on to reveal to the public as how his grand mother Indira Gandhi refused to honour Allahabad High Court Judgement and imposed emergency to remain in power as the Prime Minister of India. It is high time that we adopt Presidential form of Governance in preference to the Parliamentary form of democratic rule and to redesignate our country as UNITED INDIA to thwart the attempts of divisive forces with in the country opting for a true Federal setup.
What Rahul had said in his election speech was a reminder to Indian people that Congress had taken a lot of decisions which have changed the history of Indian subcontinent. It is true that when paki generals were making a que for uncle Sam to pressurise India, it was Indira Gandhi's guts to stand up and help Bangladeshi freedom fighters achieve full freedom. Bangladesh was kept as a slave state of pakistan who were controlling the fiercely freedom loving Bangladeshis against their will and were looting all their wealth openly and diverting the money to pakistan. India took a great step in helping Bangladesh attain freedom from pakistan.

Boss, the furore is because Rahul's statement went against the official Indian position that the country only provided humanitarian assistance to Bangladeshi refugees and had no role to play in breaking up Pakistan. If you admit that Indian government had a role in creating Bangladesh, then by what authority will you accuse Pakistan of trying to do the same to India through Kashmir insurgency? You have to learn that truth and diplomacy are complete strangers.
If Rahul Gandhi wants to speak only the truth, he should open a Gandhi ashram and leave politics to smart, pragmatic and shrewd people. Rahul is a novice and speaks like a lost child.
Rahul Ghandi is as good or bad as any other politician in India at the moment. And as far as his comment in concerned, when Indian army invades east pakistan, and liberates it from pakistan, I think we can call it interfering in internal affairs of Pakistan. And this is no secret anyway. I really do not understand why a huge fuss is being made about this comment. I see a very strange comment, someone was sad that APJ Kalam has no son, I call it strange since, this just shows that we believe in dynasties, and we think woman are not equal to men. This is what an average Indian thinks. The future is not very bright.
Rahul Gandhi's beaming foolish smile with his half naked Columbian girlfriend made it to a lot of magazines a couple of years back. Then i though he might be just a young boy. But now i am convinced that he will never grow up and mature. He is not fit to lead India, i think he should be just a pilot or something. Let a visionary young leader be the next PM.I wish APJ Kalam had a son. We cant have a PM who not only

Rahul to me looks like a person with stunted development, as if he has a man's body but a child's mind. There is no maturity or depth in him. He looks like an emotional dwarf.
