What Rahul had said in his election speech was a reminder to Indian people that Congress had taken a lot of decisions which have changed the history of Indian subcontinent. It is true that when paki generals were making a que for uncle Sam to pressurise India, it was Indira Gandhi's guts to stand up and help Bangladeshi freedom fighters achieve full freedom. Bangladesh was kept as a slave state of pakistan who were controlling the fiercely freedom loving Bangladeshis against their will and were looting all their wealth openly and diverting the money to pakistan. India took a great step in helping Bangladesh attain freedom from pakistan.
