Boss, the furore is because Rahul's statement went against the official Indian position that the country only provided humanitarian assistance to Bangladeshi refugees and had no role to play in breaking up Pakistan. If you admit that Indian government had a role in creating Bangladesh, then by what authority will you accuse Pakistan of trying to do the same to India through Kashmir insurgency? You have to learn that truth and diplomacy are complete strangers.
