What Mr. Kaul has said is nothing new, but becoming a little stale now. All sane people in India believe that Pak does not want a stable India. And they will continue to send in terrorist to destablize India. Why then do our leaders keeping trying to appease the minority across India under the banner of Aman with fellow Pak muslims. I think the muslims in India have to stand up and be counted as to where they stand on this issue. The politicians keep playing the same tape again and again but the lives of the Kashmiri pandits have not become better. Who is to stand up for them.
i am sorry but you r bein very partial, yeah the wounds r there and they need some serious addressin but u sendin the wrong message. Honestly we dont care if kashmiri punduts hate or or love us coz when u had the chance of showin the so called communal harmony u left ur kashmiri brethren to be slaughtered by ur hindu army. Also u have, blown out of the proportion the comment made music vendor, i get asked how long i intend to stay i dont moan about it its what i have choosed even though i havent fled it, by the way i have lost family members as wellbut wars always have casualties.u lot probably took the cheaper options of desertin ur homes and dont for a second blame kashmiris for it.i have spend the same time out of kashmir as u lot have and not with my family but by myself. u seem to be good at mixin politics with emotions, r u about to contest some elections lolll, instead of acceptin the foolishness of ur community u only justifyin what u did. What goes around comes around-- u suffered more outside kashmir then what could have hypothetically happened to u in kashmir But importantly uwont have lost the identity and the honour of kashmiriyat (although idont believ in nationalism)

Mr. Bhat you have taken the pointin but have not yet learned to speak the truth. Do'nt you know a person who does not believe in nationalism is a person who does not belive his father to be his father. Fathers name and nationality is what you need everywhere, be it any document or any other formality. you better know these two things then only you can try to write your message, no matter how awkward it be like you and your rubbish

Ya, Have a look at the replies from Muslims. Not one seems to have hearts. You do not belive in Nationalism. That is the fisrt sign of Islamic extremism. Pundits were kicked out. Hindu army? There is Indian army. There is no Hindu Army. Muslims like you stnk, not Islam. Thank God majority of muslims have heart.

Shocking that a muslim in this country can write this note - there has to be some censorship to prevent communal outrages.
Kashmiri muslims always attacked Hindu brothers and sadly the consecutive J&K Govts ignored their genocide of Hindus. The saddest part of the story is that the matter is being still ignored by Central Govt.
This is not the problem of Kashmiri Hindus , it is a problem of all mankind and all Hindus in particular.

What rubbish you are talking! we should treat terrorists in kashmir as they are. Stealing lands left by Pundits and their property is what they do best eh! Whatever it takes, murder of babies, torturing peaceful people and saying it's freedome struggle don't make it so. barbaric people following a barbaric way of life. your comments betray that you know nothing of peace and fairness and should get none. If the wimpy govt of India acted like a true government rather than a bunch of appologists and bootlicking coolies , your ilk would have been dealt with long ago.
it was a very touching article.. though i live in south India i do know of a few Kashmiris living in Delhi.. my friend was in delhi for somr time and had a kashmiri friend.. it was so lovely to see the girl and her red cheeks.. and it was also a touching moment when her grandmother died and her last wish to go back to her land couldnt be fulfilled..
Nobody cares for the plight of these innocent refugees- the reason being they are Hindus. In Marad- a coastal village in Kerala, some wicked men attacked stealthily the Hindu fishermen who were relaxing in the evening. Seven or eight Hindus were killed. There was naturally a reaction from the Hindus.
The Muslim families had to run away and take refuge in the schools. There was a hue and cry from all the intellectuals and politicians - NOT against the brutal murder of Hindu fishermen- but against the displacement of the Muslim families. After few months all the Muslims returned to their homes and life goes on normal.
But in Srinagar....it is different. After all the displaced people are Hindus.
Beloved Bapuji once told:
-To resist Muslim atrocities by Hindus using violence and intimation is tantamount to fratricide. Even if Hindus had died to a man, it would have been deliverance of Hinduism and Islam would have been purified in this land.
I presume the Government of India is acting true to the words of the Father of present day India.
I compliment the author for using the word 'Kashmiri Hindus' instead of the commonly used term- 'Kashmir Pandits'.
how can you forget that we are part of a secular country......... and meaning of secular is anything wrong can be done to hindus but nothing should happen to the others.......... that is why gujarat riots are remembered, killing of kashmiri pundits is not......... although both crimes are of equally horrible level; infact going by number, kashmiri pundits being killed and thrown out of their land is worse........ but you can't say that, because you are part of secular India......... never forget that.......
A very well written article by lalit Koul. The indian government refuses to look into the plight of the kashmiri hindus and goes out of the way to appease pakistan who are doing their level best to harm india. we should stop such nonsense and look into our own people, here the kashmiri hindus. its a shame that they cannot return to their homes. this cannot happen in no other country, however weak they are. the government should be shameful. but there is still time to bring justice to this community.
Asking nicely on bended knees to Indian Politicans will just get Kashmiri Indians a kick in the teeth. you read between the lines. There are thousands of you - how many will it take to make the politicians take notice if you stop the gandhiwadism and take up kurukshetra behaviour against the kauravas in government in in your homeland? why not go out in a bang instead of a whimper if you are left to die like dogs in refugee camps?
your hands can be supplicating or can take up shastra. You decide.
It was heart rendering to read the article.Pls Kashmiri Hindus you people need to come forward more.Because we people down south doesn;t know what;s happening there up north and the so called "secular" media doesn't cover your events.Pls come out more in the open.It happens only in our country where Hindus are refugees in their own homeland. What a pathetic state of affairs.Where is the BJP,RSS .I don't care abt Congress since all these problems where created by them, right from dividing the country to the latest division on caste lines.Beware and make your country fellows also aware of the state of affairs.Pls raise your voice more and force them(media/govt) to hear you.As you make more and more people aware both the media and govt will be forced to sit up and listen to you.
People like me can only support you morally.Kindly do tell us if we can reach out to you and be of any help.Let me assure you that there are many people like me who supports you in your struggle.May the power be with you.Jai Hind
