It is not possible to stop terrorist activities in Inda. The police force is systematicaly demoralised by constant political intervention. Goverment would put more resrictions for living of a common man thereby increasing the "cost" of getting things done. International terrorist organisations can always "meet" these higher expenses. They have money to purchase any person in our country who does not have national spirit. Politicians ensure that national spirit is kept in check.
It is NONSENSE to talk about Six Sigma, Quality and Statistics when an incident like yesterday happens at Mumbai killing more than 200 people and injuring more than 750 persons.
Only a THICK SKINNED POLITICIAN like you can use these terms to save your skin. This is the finest way to run away from your responsibilities. People like you have set a very wrong trend by hiding your inefficiencies under the cover of statistical figures and data.
We are talking about death of more than 200 people and you want to take side of our security agencies by saying that they have performed well ?
What should we do ? Go and kiss them on their ass for this kind of good performance ?
I am also a Six Sigma Black Belt and I hate those who use it for their skin saving.
Please dont open your mouth when you, your department and public know that it STINKS.
Hi.Appreciate your well written article. yes terror is here to stay. you have serial blasts in NE and J&K as well. Masterminds exist every where. They have a policy control over the activities and it the policy is well documented and controlled and used to maximum extent. now having appreciated the terror sector, I would like to ask as an honest tax payer, as to what is the country's governance doing about creating and drafting a comprehensive anti terror policy. just by creating TADA and POTA acts, you cant reduce or arrest terror, just arrest a suspect or so. that isnt enough. you need to hunt down the management and executors of the various terror companies or organizations. strike fear in there heart and soul. remember black September. it works. Mumbai back in action can also be attributed to a care a damn or insensitive attitude towards human loss. this is what the terror sector takes advantage, we never bray for the blood of these scoundrels. we accept there acts as it comes. a pathetic excuse of existence. a million strong army, and a 2 million strong Para military, if are strengthened by a policy which allows execution of anti terror campaigns, we would have a better India
I says, its not spirit., its mazhaburi... its necessity for mumbaikars" thy dont have alternate transportation ... you implement metro with high security ...60% mumbai ..travel thru metro ... if put sky bus transport... people travel ..thy leave useless, un maintained western railways ... At present for us, this mode of transportation is available, so we are using.
RE:Have you prevented any such crime during this year?????

Dear ENG.K.VEERANNA SETTY,
Why are you restricting to only three crime incidents?
The prevented crime incidents can not be given any number. These goes unsung / un-noticed.
Yes, there are many incidents, where perpetrators were prevented / disallowed / caught due to preventive measures. But, none of these can be discussed even in most of the closed groups and definitely not in any open forum like this. You will appreciate that smart crooked brains will start finding the ways and means to break the prevention.
The value of prevention will be known, when the protective covers from your electrical appliances are removed; when all security watchmen and policemen are sent on leave for even 1 day; all the safety rules are allowed to be broken for 1 day; traffic / railway signals go haywire; etc.
With the evolution of technology, lot of crimes are going hi-tech, where most of the preventive mechanisms are still old-tech. This mis-match needs to be addressed.
The essence of the article was to draw attention towards prevention of hi-tech crimes, specially related to IT.
