Kudos to the author for telling it like it is. I think it's time we discarded our kid gloves when dealing with Islamic terrorism and confronted the jihadis head-on both militarily and ideologically. We need to call their bluff regarding the crackpot tenets of their faith such as universal brotherhood of all muslims and ummah-shummah. These are nothing but ideoligical means to encourage muslims all over the world to become trouble-makers for the nations and societies they live in. There's a theory that as soon as the numbers of muslims living in a particular region reaches a critical mass, they start becoming a threat to all their non-muslim neighbours. This happens basically because deep in their hearts, muslims living anywhere in the world and in any condition (rich/poor/educated/unlettered/american/indian) believe that their religion and their god are the only true ones and all other religions are phoney. So people belonging to all other faiths must either embrace Islam or face persecution. While we cannot eradicate this irrational feeling among muslims, we can show them that non-muslims are here to stay and violence against them will be responded to in kind.
Stop using 7/11 and start using 11/7 if you want to. The use of 7/11 shows how desperate people are to associate themselves with the US. Since when did we start using that kind of date system? huh? And it also shows how desperate we are to associate the terror attack with 9/11 in the US. Come on guys its high time we have some individuality. It disgusts me whenever I read 7/11 in the newspapers/news websites.
When most of the perpetuator of mass murders belong to one community, then it is no wrong in questioning that community as a whole. Unless we see leaders from that community fight the terror in their own instead of protesting against massacres in Lebanon or Iraq, we wont make any progress. Otherwise, this has to be enforced by state. But, with leaders like Mulla Sigh, Lalu (who see no evil) and rest of the crowd (who say nothing to evil), theres nothing much one can expect from State. Hope IGP doesnt get punished for his views, but, as a citizen we demand actions. This illegitimate menace has to be curbed, no matter what.
Subject: 7/11: Understanding terror The genesis, the terror networks, exploding the myths, motive of terrorists all topics are written with in depth study and analysis. But I do not agree with one line We all have to realise that there is no place for radical ideology in today's borderless world. On the contrary Because of the revolution in computer and communications technology, the terrorist organisations have no dearth of financiers, contributors, fund-raisers and disgruntled teachers of technology. We all have to realise that there is a big danger from radical ideology in today's borderless world. In fact people involved are learned, intelligent, resourceful and dedicated to ideology. I believe this radical ideology is taught in such an efficient way that young men leave their young wives to sip wine and enjoy beautiful virgins in paradise in their imaginary vision. In other words it is taught to develop a mental cancer. So instead of dealing with the affected people, the root cause which develops this cancer should be eliminated from this earths surface.
Dr Singh has correctly analysed the grounds of terrorism and identified radical ideology to be the main cause of terror in the society. There is nothing new about secret societies and terrorist organisations. What has changed is the level of resources at their disposal to commit acts of terror. A terror network operates very much like a crime network. The methods to control and implement their plans are similar. The only difference is that a terrorist will court death based on some abstract theory and belief, while a criminal faces death in violent encounters or capital punishments. While unearthing terror gangs( modules) is very much police work there, the appropriate conviction and punishment is a totally different game. We need a terrorist laws to convict not only active terrorists but also their support groups.A different court to administer justice and punishment. The experience of the developed countries may be a pointer to waging the war on terrorism of all kinds.
Can we stop using words like "Terrorism", "Terrorist" so loosely?
How can military targets also fall under the umberlla of terrorism? Then why millitary attacks by States not regarded as Terror acts? "Shock and Awe" is nothing but a more delicate term for Terror.
An excellent article on genesis of teror! But our politicians, socalled secular media, communisys(who currently decide all policy matters) and pseudo secularists intellengtia will refuse to acknowledge these facts, forget about acting against jehadi terrorists. Home Minister of India says why to talk about Bngladesi immigration, it may spoil relations with Bangladesh! Mullasingh Yadav has already given certificate of patriotism to SIMI immediately after Mumbai Blasts. The key conspirator of Cimbtore blasts, Madani has been released at the recommendation of Kerala assembly. Maharashtra's home minister is silent spectator to killilng of 2 police under supervision of Abu Azmi. All the electronic and english media will tell you day & night that terror has no religion and all the acts of terrorism are reaction to Gujarat riots(conveniently forgetting that the riots occured only because of burning of 58 Hindus( Lalu says that Hindus locked in themselves and put the compartment on fire). With this kind of atomsphere, we really donot need any jehadi Islamists, the job will be easily accomplished by politicians, media & pseudo secularists.

Hello Sameer But, why does an Indian Muslim worry more about Palestine/Iraq rather than about situation in Kashmir or Mumbai blasts? Because, majority victims are Hindus and Perpetuators are Muslims? OR if you talk about humanity, how about Africa? Why don't we see many of Muslims protesting/outraged over these barbaric acts? Why should one care about what US does to Iraq OR Lebanon, when they dont care about Kashmir, Assam or Mumbai blasts?

Hii Amar, But still we have "jihadi terrorists"!!So, you have negated your idiotic assertions yourself. But the bigger question to be answered is the "Genesis" thoery given by Dr. Satyapal Singh. The religious rhetoric quoted,is definitely NOT from the Holy Quran and neither from any of the associated books. It is rather a vague and absurd affirmation used by media to explain the mind set of terrorists. The first myth which he has tried to explode, is, definitely the genesis, on the contrary. It is sheer injustice, oppression, bullying and most importantly, the "uncalled, inherent fear of Islam and Muslims dominating us" among the Jews (and subsequently US, coz US is dominated by jews, and susequently the whole world, coz the whole world is dominated by US) and also among the hard core hindu fanatics in India. It is this inherent fear which has resulted in the aggression towrads Muslims, wherever possible, Palestine,Chechenya, Bosnia, Kashmir, Gujarat etc, and it is this oppression which breeds terrorism. Remember, Hamas is not strolling to China or Japan to eliminate those "ugly unbeleivers", they are fighting for thier land!Dr. Satya pal need a bit more insight,I guess!!
Terror is now a day common problems for us majority countries are suffering from this But unfortunately no one is going to find root of this terror If we think we get answer who is responsible for this? 90% terrorists over the world are from Islam? Only one religion teach to spread terror? R They making lives miserable of all people of world? should not All non-islamic countries arrest all people of this religion and enquire them? cant we get much information from them coz majority of them are involved in such activities? All muslim houses should be checked?May we find too much weapons from there? Cant we reduce terror in this way?
