Now this is high time for Mumbaikars. As we all realized that central govt. want money from Mumbai like Sone Ka EGG Denewali Ki Murgi. Also after every natural disaster affected area get tax exemption for few years, here one request to cent. govt. that at least for few years use Mumbaikar money for Mumbai infrastructure development which I think enough for us. Now Mumbai is dying so pls. praise you do not over burdens the live financial city with allowing slums & chawls (illegal) for Vote purpose. We all praise BMC, State & Cent Govt. to come out with strong full proof plan and with co-coordinately for better tomorrow.
A lot is being said and written in media about the past few days in Mumbai( Thackrey Town)... But alas..once the rain water receds in the lanes of Mumbai, everything will wash out ,corpses, filth ,and the memories of people making such a hue and cry.
Its a great job done on the part of media to bring an issue to the forefront but a very lackadiasical attitude when the headline is not making money !!!
Be it Latur ,Tehalka ,Krgil Coffins ,Tsunami..India needs these events everyday till a point comes that everybody seriously starts thinking of a peaceful and a disciplined society. But basically Inidins have a laid back attitude for all problems. All '' RAM Bharose ''. Sab kuch Apne aap thik ho jayega .
Nothing chnages untill a society wants to adpot it.Going back in Time is very easy , rising to the occassions is far more difficult.
Its centuries old problem of Indian society ,Egoistic nature , undisciplined and mob psychology( Sheeps in herd ).If we as a society want to progress, lets first start from basic, get your children to be honest and disciplined.A society will never progress unless the people are honest ( A rarest of rare characteristic among Indians) and disciplined.
i wonder educated people saying to stop filing income tax returns if mumbai is not granted money for infrastructure ... According to me , the government is giving lot of money for development .But bcoz of corruption from the root level to the High officials , is hindering the growth of the country ...It is not only Mumbai that cant face a natural disaster , it is the whole India which cant bear any type of disasters ...
i am taking the example of my place Gudur in Andhra Pradesh .
I still remember my childhood days when i used to think , when my street which i live is going to change ... But after 16 yrs , it is even worse than before .Thanks to the great constuctors who are building the roads . The new roads goes of by one rain ..
Let us come to the municipalities ,
The small village municipailty gets around 50 Lakh for its development in one year , but i have never seen development from my childhood ..
This is the situation in every nook and corner of the country . It is the people of India who should be shameful for this . First stop blaming the goverments , think whether u are doing things properly which are to be done by u .Then let us kick the officials who are taking bribe
sir, i dont understand why "Mumbaikars" are so panic by the recent "flash flood like situation", in fact it is not a real flood but the root cause is the drainage problem. The problem faced by the people of Assam(Axomia), is even more serious and in fact we have seen worst floods. Our houses remains submerged not for a day or two but it remains in the same state for weeks. If two days of raining caused so much of havoc what would be the condition if it rains for weeks? just what it happens in Assam. so, it is the duty of the govt to stop all construction activities in an around all metros and big cities, let the population and the residential areas be shifted to suburban localities and the first thing that should be done is to construct a proper sewer system and fix the number of families that can reside in a society so as to prevent overcrowding of places. but before that we have to be selfless in our duties.
