New DON is excellent. The picturisation is superb. The songs are great. Probably people from old generation are not liking it but I must admit that theatre was packed with excitement while the next auditorium showing JAAN-E-MANN was almost empty. DON rocks.
I quite liked the twist in the tale after the interval actually. While i agree that the performances by Boman and Rampal were disappointing and the action sequences lacked effort, i thought the rest of the film was enjoyable and engrossing. I can only think of one character who cud have done justice to Boman's role, the original don himself, Big B. Had they got the DCP and Pran's characters right, the film would have been superb. But even now, i think it was good. I wouldn't brand it "silly", not at all!
Dear Frenz..Being a fan of SRK,recently i hve watched this movie in Spice Noida with full of expectation..but at the end i'm left with lot of surprises.I could say this movie has no logic right from beginning..and its a sheer waste of time to watch such a bakwaas movie..The Director has clearly messed up the image of SRK and pockets of producer as well..So my kind request to the director is that from now dnt ever try to copy the story shown in regional languages like like tamil or telugu for that matter in 70s or 80s .Always maintain ur originality and keep in mind the taste of bollywood audience b4 doing any crapppp.....
what a waste of of my valuable time srk sucks can u guys please STOP ACTING SRK ur the worst actor in the history of actors even i am a better actor than ur srk leave the indian cinema u cannot act

I am unable to understand y this man is trying to misguide the public.. DON DISAPPOINTS!!! What the hell... rediff.com shuld change their movie review provider i think... Friends I liked this movie very much and find no reason to call it as a flop until an unless people like this gentleman(Raja) continue shouting on blog openly that the movie is not good... Rather its a must watch... full entertainment with no haklagiri effects of SRK. And for those who are going to watch SRK trying to copy Amitabh Bachan... then sorry 4 them.. they will obviously be disappointed as there is a small difference in the story line of the movie which completely changes the whole concept of it... MY RATING FOR THE MOVIE ****
i dont follow shahrukh movies blindly n other than ddlj and swadesh i have found most of his movies overhyped.
but before the release of don,i watched the old don to be in a position to judge the movie at its merit.
i guess the time when the previous don released it was too deadly a lpot for the audiences as far as their exposure to such kinda scrpits was concerned.
but as the present generation as been so exposed to different kinda cinemas,thanks to the multiplex culture...that its a little unfair to rate this movie low.
i beleive all that ends well is good n in recent times,most of the movies havent ended so well.
the movie's end would not make u watch even the most ardent fan of shahrukh watch the movie the second time,but it is total paisa vasool for a one time watch.
i wud like to thank farhan for the movie the way its made,u have met my expectations.
i wud want this movie to work....i was entertained
