keerthichakra This film is a must see for anyone, it is based on the true story of Kashmir and Indian Army brave heroic saving of many lives during and Cammando operations.
There is no way to explain how much major ravi did and must have gone through to achieve what he did.
For anyone thinking of watching this great film that is in two minds as to whether to or not - the answer is go for it you will not be dissapointed.
One of the best films ever made in my opinion and will always be rated as such.........

As far as the film is concerned it lacks some points. No one can imagine Mohanlal as the officer.he is not at all suitable for the role. I think Mammootty was the best choice & the last malayalam film shot at kashmir was NAIRSAAB also a military based film.
Its an Excellent MasterPiece from a Debutant Director. Hats Off Major. the movie is a true mix of Military Commando\'s life and the Dangers await them. Lal once again come up with yet anotherStunning perfromance. Jeeva and Gopika also done there part very well. the Film has already crossed 1 Cross in Gross collectiosn from Kerala in its 4 day itself.
I saw Keerthichakra yesterday in a packed theatre. Even Perinthalmanna is a small town, the film running in two big theaters. The movie is grt with national security guard operations close to reality. Mohanlal looks perfect in his role and he is felxible as a senior military officer. Jeeva looks nice. Director M.Ravi deserve appreciation that he tried to say atleast half truth. Just like terrorists targeting Hindus, foolish human right orgs etc...

Hey...if the tamil version is not good...u should blame the tamil producer...who included comedy secenes and an item number with rahasya...probably thinking of tamil audiences...but in malayalam version there is no such things.... and ofcourse blame rajeev who dubbed for mohanlal... The Malayalam top star is upset that the film has been in its Tamil version without his concurrence.
In Fact, Mohanlal is a perfectionist and takes pains to get every detail right.
But in the Tamil version (Aran) his voice has been dubbed, and that has come as a major setback to the film. Poor review from rediff... the movie is a BUMPER HIT in theatres..today also tried to get a reservation for the film and but all shows are booked.
If you can't accept a mohanlal be very blatent. This is like finding something very irrelevent. Did u ever feel that his body language did not suite for the cammando operation. FYI, havildar's who join military would very young, so it is natural that they may have very soft features outsidfe, but did u find anything wrong in jeeva's action sequences. Was he missing a spark somewhere of that look??

read ur view regarding mohanlal in ARAN. first of all..it is far far far better than wat ur so called superstars like Vijay'rambo'Kant, RajniKant show in their movies. see, first of all learn to appreciate good things. U can digest Ur superstars dancing with n kissing girls less than half their age... U saw dat movie "Narsimha" in which a transformer blows up when an electric shock is given to Vijaykant...May b its a reality as far as TamilNadu is concerned..wat do u say??? we keralites watch Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada,English & Hindi movies with the same mindset n know to appreciate the good things. Change Ur viewpoint n learn to relish things that r from outside of tamilnadu :-) don't just stick to ur aging superstars.

Mohanlal is NOT a tamilian..so definitely his tamil will be accented. I am pretty sure you are one of those fanatic tamilians who don't appreciate anything other than tamil or anyone other than tamilians...pathietic!!
hi everybody saw aran 1 hr back in santhi theatre chennai,it is the stupidest movie i have ever seen,i have never seen a black cat commando with such a big belly like mohanlal,thats the first minus point of the film,second jeeva looks like a kid who is in his teens,black cat commando dress doesnt suit him,3rd mohanlal dialogue in tamil was pathetic,4th there was no good fight sequence in the film all the fight was so stupid,i think producer rb chowdary hasnt spend money to make a good movie he was just trying to project jeeva as a hero,mannnn look at the fight sequence in holly wood movies the trend today is changing,people will accept only good fights,not this kind of stupid thingssss,5th thoise comdians i dont know thier name thier comedy was irritating,6th how many terrrorist are sending this kind of big rocket in kashmir man its so stupid man the black cat guys disable the rocket in 2 seconds hahahahaha,its a shame on major ravi to take such a stupid film,he has shown terrorist as idiotic guys these days terrorists r so smart they dont wear all those mogamudis and all and they dont live inside forest man....7th the worst thing is i bought 50 rs for 100rs,i could had 2beer...
Hi movie watchers Major Ravi is a military man ..he just did a film .tell an inside story..he have limitations..to be a director..but honest ..he dont know the industry.. hope fully "KC"its better than JP Duttas films god bless him for his future films Mere Bharat Mahan Moty from USA
