I agree on his view that bureaucracy is the culprit for all chaos. Politicians come and go, but these bureaucrats stay for 30 years on average. I have seen some IAS man saying 'put all the burden on the employers (social security issues). Government (we, IAS) should only monitor them, no real work for us! That is safe. Again in 1999 super cyclone I have seen lorries loads of supplies left unopened in a big ground, while people were starving for food. Then the government was saying "Don't give us material in kind (food, clothes, etc); give us cash! (Elections are round the corner). Such is the attitude. Then the rural employment scheme- Rs.80 per day for 100 days for one family is Rs.8000 per family for one year i.e., Rs.22 per day for a family! Imagine what you will eat with it! The government claims so much of it. The agricultural labour are turned into unskilled labour for this paltry sum and even out of this a part is swallowed by contractor and government officers.
Remember, IAS = I Am Safe IPS = I Play Safe IRS = I Remain Safe
They do no work other than chamchagireeing ministers and lobbying for posting.

First people from all Minorities and Majorities should understand that CONGRESS has looted Indians more than General Mount Batten and Mount Curston.
People who will elect CONGRESS for a mere T.V. ,Alchohol, Religious matters and fundamentals will make suffer all and suffer themselves too.
I like the abbrevations, you created. So here are mine:
Congress Panja : Stop Progress of India forever Sonia Gandhi: SG: Safe Gaund Rahul Gandhi: RG : Reserve Godown Nehru Family: NF : National Frauds
The oil price increase is not because of the supply - demand inbalance or dollar issue. It is purely by the trading of crude oil. Almost all of the financial institutions lost billions in the credit crunch and the following stock market crash. Now they want to recover the money. So they are investing in crude and predicting that it will reach 200 dollars within six months and making sure that they will make bumper profit from this business...... Everyday they give reason for price increase as tension in nigeria, pakisthan, iran etc etc....... and finally by Bush that it because of developing India !!!!
I agree with the view that Indian bureaucracy is the main culprit in India for anything bad happenes. The system permits the politicians in power to use them at will for all their wrong doings and in turn the bureaucracy is allowed to help themselves, which they do with all freedom. The current level of corruption is at its highest and the main stumbling block in Indias growth.

The inflation in India is only due to black marketing(it is indeed govt supported). What is FCI doing? Grain imported from australia was rotten and was imported at much higher price. All was thrown in sea.Who is responsible for it?Why Supreme court is not accepting any petition on it

No body can stop Inflation but it can be control to some extent. Why Manmohan Singh's Govt. has not procured wheat at the time of harvest?.why they allowed private people to purchase it. Inflation to poor is caused by govt. for not procuring enough buffer stock of food grain. When you have given all your resources to private entrepreneur, now they will control food supply and they will decide the price.
The author has eminently dealt with all the relevant aspects.India is essentially a country of rural base with agriculture as the main occupation of the rural folk & in continues so despite expansion of the industrial sector. Indian agriculture suffers from what is called "disguised unemployment"due lack of work actuated by absence of proper irrigational facilities which,in turn, could also be owing to erratic power supply .The lopsided planning with undue importance to only industries-and of late more so to IT sector, deprives the much needed financial relief to the farmers;rural banks established for uplift of the farmers & villagers failed miserably in their role while the same became a success just in our neighbouring country BanglaDesh winning Nobel prize to its citizen espousing their cause. Cooperative Banks helped only cooperation in money sharing by the officials. While no doubt, global warming, vagaries of monsoon, ecological changes do affect agriculture, the main crux is finance and power which help successful cultivation through out the year by the poor Indian ryot, the food giver who is preferring suicide to come out of the clutches of usurious money lenders. This is a sad state of affairs which surely does not augur well and auspicious for the nation.A sector on which 2/3 0f Indian population continues to depend & which gives one of the three prime human needs-"Roti,Kapada aur Makan" cannot be neglected like this & left to its fate."Anna Daatha Sukheebhava"be motto

you are saying this to people who have not changed things since last 35 years. "Roti,Kapada aur Makan" is almost 35-40 years back. Lets talk and say something new that can do.

I quoted them as prime-rather basic needs of people-not that we do not have other new things to be done.It emphasises the need of the hour please.Whether it is 35 0r 40 years back, they continue to be the human fundamental needs. It is not that we can live now without satisfying these day to day needs.

Let me ask you. What have you done to change this? Have you sponsored a hunder child or have you donated to a child welfare or charity organization ever. Lets take this discussion after that. Dont blame just them, you, me and all Indians are to blame for this. Need of hour not changed since 35-40 years, you must have good sense of humor.

Lets stop talking and make a difference.
Unless educated people like us, social workers, NGOs, Pvt company unite together. Go to villages. Spend some time atleast (Once in a year). Talk to villagers. See how their school run. children are going school. How their health is takan care. how they eat, produce agricluture etc. Nothing can happen. Good news is we dont need to be expert on these issue. All the info are available on internet. All we need is copy them and go talk to villagers about this. thats all. We can keep blaming neta, govt, and now globalisation for another 100 years. Thats waste of time. I like the title, we cant play politics with hunger.
