Who will open a new company in India, why US, EU and others will open new companies here, where with cahnge of govt everything changes.
Even the NAME OF UNIVERSITIES; ROADS; CITIES are DECIDED BY 10th passed or sometimes 10th fail POLITICIANS just for the sake of their DIRTY politics(CASTE; RELIGION;STATE .....)
Now when all that is saturated new agenda is to introduce QUOTA in private sector. These are people who never loved their motherland and were always interted in making votes AND CAPTURING HIGH POSITIONS for themselves and their relatives. HOW many of these politicians have set and example before others.
HOW CAN WE COMPETE WITH CHINA???? whose economy is booming, why foreign people will invest in India, AND even Indians why they will be here they will also go to China or some other country for buisness. Thanks to OUR GREAT POLITICIANS
I think time has come when Indian industry, businesses and MNCs should pull down shutters 'sine die' and stop paying all these corrupt parties for elections. They deserve only a kick. These bonelss and corrupt politicians aping Britishers and their policies still are out to cause permament damage to society for centuries to come in name of welfare. They are more dangerous and unscupulous than earlier invaders. This nonsense of reservation should be completely finished within next 5 years. The only answer in a democracy and free markets is role of government as facilitator and motivator and not regulator.Indian politicians are still trying to dictate and determine destiny of Indian citizens.Mr Man Mohan should understand his limits and realise the fact that votes of emotional and illiterate people in india can't be abused by them endlessly for gluing to chairs.Congress should see the results of recent elections and take cue before we wipe them out from Indian politicial scene. The other boneless parties, for lust of power, also tow the same line. Is it necessary Mr MM to remain PM?Can't you resign on principles? In which book of economics is written that reservations develop societies and remove discriminations?Instead we are firmly dividing nation in caste and religion compartments .It is criminal act.Indian Industry should have a full showdown with these corrupt and boneless lobbies pressurising PM and Indian government for reservations in private sector.Enough is enbough.

Have you noticed something with the reserved category of bureacrats. They try to emulate the others and strive hard to come up to the same standards as a wealthy bureacrat. In the process, if you have been unfortunate to deal with them, they are the most arrogant, greedy and slimiest dogs in the bureacracy. What they don't realise is that, it is through cultural transformation and learning good etiquettes that you can stand shoulder to shoulder with others. One incident, once to get some approval, we had to call a moron to the office for lunch (he came running to collect his packet) and it was an embarassment to see him lick his fingers when all the others were using a fork to eat, or atleast a spoon. Then they talk about being equal to others

India's economic situation is unique in itself & that demands reducing the bridge between the rich & poor. Our prime minister is right. He has lived economics all his life & knows well that the only way this divide can be reduced is to give opportunities to advance to the socially underpriveledged lot. The past few years have widended the divide between rich & poor thanks to the black money circulation in our country & the every growing inflation. How will the pooor manage to pay twice or thrice the same amount for a commodity or service while their disposable income has remained the same..Let's feel for our fellow citizens - we are poor country where thousands people die of hunger every day.. So once agian..our prime minister is right..

Watever these politically votebank offers declared by these politicians mouth is totally not acceptable. As there are also crores of poorers in India who are brought up in General families. With these quota, all the meritorious poor general students will be deprived from their rights. So,I think all these quotas should be abolished which was tested for many years to gain actual mileage in creating their vote banks rather killing the future of the great country. There should be two quota i.e. rich and poor.Among poors, only meritorious students should be given chance for any type of job.Like this year Civil services exam shows that even children of Rickshawpuller, beggars etc can win this.

After enacting a 50 years fraud with society in name of reservations and givign alms of jobs to so called dalits and backwards, the politicians are now jittery and having reduced recruitment in government and PSUs,they( this includes poweful SC & ST lobby in government) want the cake to be cut from private sector pie too. This is utterly shameful and crminal actin my opinion. The vote seeking and corrupt politcians in all politicial parties have no guts to say no to reservations which are shere distortion of facts and are anirrelevant tool for development. Dividing the whole nation into firm compartments of castes and religions(in name of minority welfare) The politicians ,specially congress party ,aping their old British masters are bent upon to destroy society and business. It is failure of economy that has causesd unemployment and reservations are not solution to such problem. This needs equitable distribution of wealth and development at micro level to generate self employment.
These so called OBCs are none but old ruling classes and they have vested interests to clamour for reservation. Backwards can be in any one including a Baniya or Brahmin. The governmetns are still functioning like Britishers and trying to control destiny and development of people. This is foolish act and against principles of free markets and democratic system.Solution lies in emopowerment from grass root level and elimination of tax evasion and corruption. I think time has come when Indian busin
quota system is a curse to any country. In India it is being very effectively and deceptfully being used by the politicians to keep alive the disappearing wedge in the society. politicians bring it up every now and then to their convenience and we common people fight over it. Quota system can only create more hatred and dislike among the haves and have nots a reversal of earlier times. Every country had classes in some form or other centuries ago in the form of Rulers, religious heads, traders, servants and slaves. History shows that nowhere was one class treated equal to the other and same was in India where we had Kshtriyas, brahmin, shudras, dalits exactly the same manner. For some reason the world is so obsessed with the caste system in India that they forget the atrocities they carried out on their lower classes... slaves. We tend to visualize caste system as a product of differences between Brahmins and dalits etc. 2 wrongs dont make a right and we should strive for equal access to education and other resources(books, library) for all economically weak and not any particular caste, but no reservations when it comes to college admission or jobs. Sincersly hope we can look through the foul minds of the politicians and unite. Jai Bharat.
When you liberalised the economy or began the process in 1991, you said, our companies should be freed from the shackles of control based regime, so that competitiveness can forklift our industry to world standards. Our industry rose to the occassion and came thumps up. Today India is what it is today, because of the hardwork of these industrialists, businessmen and hardworking executives, who free to exercise their brains put it to use to make Indian a power horse in world economy.
Manmohan, today 16 years later, you want to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. What happened Manmohan. Age has caught up with you - you have lost all your reasoning ability and even the power of persuasion, that today, 100 crore of the 110 see you as simply a lame duck prime minister hanging on to Sonia's petty coat.
How can you do this to this country. Are you a patriot in any sense that word can be described. You want to pack the private industry with incompetent people who will not be accountable for their performance. Today, people put in their hard work, because they know in private industry, if you don't produce results, you are anserable for it. Can you substitue this hard working lot by 50% of whatever stupid quota you want to implement.
Don't rock a boat too hard. It will sink. You make any move on such an idea, this country will simply erupt in caste wars and industries will the first one to suffer and foreign capital will simply flee.
We will back to square one

I am in total agreement with what you have said... The quoto system in this country way outta hand... There are many competent people here in this country. Because of some reservations, many good people lose out and they leave the country because of this... even with such industrialization there is brain drain... Mr Manmohan being an Economist from the London School of Economics..... sad state of affairs from him and his party...

For your information, at 8.30 PM one is at home and don't worry, i have a unlimited broadband connection. Even the laptop wireless connection is my private and paid for by me.
Don't see stars because reservation is coming. Go and study hard or get some qualification, You too will get your opportunity to come up in life
our shastras have aptly described that the shudras are born from d feet of brahma and are meant only to serve the higher castes...a shudra is not made for things like education and stuff....dis system as dsecribed by hindu customs and veds is an age old divine system which has kept harmony in the society....congress by trying to bring the dalits equal to d upper castes will destroy dis whole equlibrium....tomorrow all dalits/OBC will get educated which goes against d very tenets of our hindu religion as given in veds/shastras....hindu religion will itself vanish if dalits and shudras become equal to higher castes...these lowely people once ducated will start demanding our daughters in marriage....is this acceptable to any self respecting higher caste to marry a low caste person

Harjeet Singh you need to wake up... Education is a right of every human being and it is not based on your caste.... Caste was made by humans not by God... Tell me which holy book in the world denies education and the right to live... If u r talking like this then the white people are more superior to us.... dont you think so... so dont bring the caste here that is not the problem, its the quota... the quota denies every competent person higher or low caste.... A person's capabilities have to be measured acc to his knowledge and experience not by his or her caste and religion...

Anoop, well said. I hope Harjeet gets a little wiser being on this forum and listening to rational arguements
I apologize if I seemed like bragging. It is just that I feel a rush when I hear about this reservation crap.
When I was in my 12th grade, and we (me & 2 friends) were preparing for EAMCET (entrance exam for Engg./Medicine in the state of AP)....there were 3 of us. One of us belonged to a so-called OBC....the person's father was a rich businessman earning way more than my dad or the other friends dad. Nonetheless, the businessman who was rich by all means....produced a certificate saying his yearly salary was less than Rs 50,000 (in 1994) and that qualified his child for reservation!!!
The fact is that businessman at that time (1994) owned a Maruti Zen and Maruti 1000cc and was living in one of the posh colonies in Hyderabad. Please tell me where is the justice in this?

Dear crazyforsense, these are all vote bank politics! What is the use asking the industry to make reservation when enough qualified persons are not available. We are not able to get enough electricians, welders, turners, etc.
There is unemployment in our country but equal scarcity of qualified technicians also. Unless the there are enough vocational training facilities, no amount of reservation is going to help. Not every one can become a white collar employee!
